Andhra University, College of Engineering Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Top companies like Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Wipro, TCS, and L&T will visit for campus placements and will hire 20 to 30 students per department. The highest package would be around 8 LPA and the average package would be 3 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements will be around 70 to 75 %. After getting the degree, if I got a placement, everything is set. Otherwise, I will try jobs on the IT side and core side as well and finally will settle with a government job.

From 3-2, we become eligible for campus placements. Software companies like TCS, Capgemini, cognizant, etc. branch companies like LNT visited. Nearly 50% of students got placed on campus drives. I will prepare for government jobs in civil engineering after the completion of my course.

4th-year students are getting campus placement through various private companies. Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, isro, drdo, Vishakapatnam steel plant etc .are hiring students to join. Almost 60 per cent of students are getting campus placement. And after my degree, I am willing to appear for government jobs in my core group such as SSC JE, AE etc.

From 4th year first semester students can appear for campus placements for civil engineering students hardly one or two companies like L and T give jobs with an annual package of 3.5 lakhs about 30 percentage students got campus placements.

From 4-1(7th semester) students are available for placements. Companies visited are L &T, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, etc. Almost 45 % of students are placed. After my degree, trying to get campus placements.

Around 80% of students from different branches are getting campus placements. I am a civil engineer so I am focusing on the GATE exam which is very crucial for my career so that I can get some good jobs in the public sector.

For the 6th semester, students are available for campus placements. Companies like LNT, TCS etc visited our college. The highest package of salary is 16LPA and the average package is 8LPA. A maximum of 75 per cent of students got placements. My plan is to complete my M.Tech

Nearly 60percebtage of people get placements in technical branches like cse and ece All other non-techincal will opt for competitive exams like gate, IES, other exams Some of the non-techincal branch people can also get placement in the technical role

I'm interested in civil engineering. there are 2. professors for 70 students. qualification of professors is Ph.D. our professors teach in a simple way that students can understand the subject. there are 2 semesters one for 6 months. somewhat is easy to pass.
