Mata Sundri College for Women Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Mata sundri college, University of Delhi is well known for it's undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields. Mata sundri college has a good reputation for it's excellence academic record. The teaching method of their teachers is quite commendable.

The curriculum was precisely made with enhanced learning at each step. Further this curriculum strengthened my research, writing, and learning skills. Although, more focus should be given on a student's understanding rather than learning within the curriculum. The exams difficulty level was quite moderate and frequency was very convenient.

Our placement cell is actively working on providing placements and internships to the students. There are a variety of job profiles offered that are suitable for every course. Students can sit for placement in their third year and internships are actively offered so others can apply for those as well. Companies such as DeShaw, Dream Jobs and Ngos visit our college for recruitment. And the average salary package is 2 LPA.

The course is nice. I've economics and office management and throughout all the semesters I've learnt many things like computers, data analysis, research methodology, etc. The only one improvement I would want is to remove stenography from office management course. It was never mentioned in the overall syllabus during admission and it's very tough for every student.

There are many internship opportunities available starting from 1st year (1st semester onwards) . For the job placement you should have been in 6th semester or graduate to get placed. The companies like Wipro , maruti Suzuki, ICICI prudential, tech Mahindra, zomato , tech for india etc visited our college campus for placement. 70% students get placed every year . I am planning to pursue masters degree .

Placement opportunities are not much higher. They provide with very low packages on average. Only once or twice I have seen packages with 10 lakh CTC pa. For employment, you will have to look for good opportunities off campus only. Though students option to apply in them, but I didn't find them suitable for myself.

From your first year, you can take up internships offered by placement cell and employment opportunities starts coming in for final year students. Highest package is around 8 lakhs and average is 3.5 lakhs. Companies like Leverage Edu, Deloitte, Upgrad, Zomato etc. visit the campus and hires students.

3rd year students are offered placements by companies like wipro, flipkart, etc. If u wanna go ahead , u can apply. Average salary is 2lakh per annum. 85% students get placed every year. I wont opt for placement bcoz i will pursue an Mba.

I want to be a Punjabi language teacher that's why I choose B.A (Hons) Punjabi and I like to read Punjabi books, Punjabi literature, Punjabi culture and history. The faculty members are also good and teach very well.

Placements as such are good. Companies like KPMG, and others came to our college for the placements. The highest packages offered are a maximum of 300000 per year. 30-40% of students got placements from our college.
