Every year our college held internship fair which help students to grow and big companies recruiter also come to our college to give the placement opportunities to students.
Another thing that i liked is the financial affordability and the aids that the college is offering to the students who are not financially sound
Academics is great in my college. my college have best faculty of professor with great experience and knowledge

Dislikes

Placement - the rate of placement is low as compared toh other colleges
Most of the times the classes get cancelled by the teachers which causes discomfort for many students
The fees are quite affordable but still, it becomes a little difficult to afford for the students of very low academic economic backgrounds.

ARSD UNFILTERED: FRIENDS, FUN, AND COLLEGE VIBES

Likes

Infrastructure like classrooms, library, labs, and canteen is good
The placement cell is active and helpful for commerce and some science courses
Most teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, especially if you approach them outside class

Dislikes

though it can feel limited sometimes because of a small campus size
teaching styles can feel very theory-based at times
The girls to boys ratio is roughly around 40:60, so more boys than girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the course curriculum around 7/10. I chose it because the core subjects are well-structured and useful for higher studies. The syllabus is mostly theory-based, so real-world skills depend a lot on internships and self-learning. Exams happen every semester with internals in between, and they’re manageable if you stay regular. The curriculum would be better with more practical work and interactive teaching.

Likes

I like the views of college, the beauty and the greenery
Also i like the fest of our college and events and try to engage in it.

Dislikes

Also some teachers are rude and are not cooperative.
Also the class time table there are soo much gap between each class. In Wednesday its 3 hour gap for 2 classes.

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Inside my college life: My review

Likes

I liked the fest of the college named tide.
The college infrastructure is good and beautiful
Loved the sports facility in the college.

Dislikes

The college wifi is the one thing i didn't like.
Secondly the absence of auditorium feels bad.
And lastly the garden of college which is not opned is one bad thing.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

ARSD in Reality

Likes

Diversity of students is good , students come from almost all parts of the country
Societies are top notch we get lot of exposure

Dislikes

Time gaps between classess, sometimes there is gap of 2-3 hours between 2 classes
Slow administration, subject allotment takes a lot of time
Bus stand area outside college is dirty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course gives good knowledge of accounting, finance and management which influenced my decision to take this course, teachers give case studies based on real world applications, sec vac are very irrelevant, the frequency of exam is good, we have plenty of time to prepare

Life at ARSD

Likes

The diversity of college us good, i met a lot of new people
Commerce Faculty is well educated and they taught well
Fest of arsd is best, annual fest tide is really good

Dislikes

Wifi is slow, wherever you go in the college, there will be network issue
I personally don't like the Political parties of college
Too much restrictions in events and program, they don't give free hand to student to organize

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Likes

Only nescafe of the college provides quality food.

Dislikes

College does not have an auditorium, politics shoulds be minimised.
Infrastructre of the college needs to be improved veryy muchh
faculties needs to be changes, and should be checked consistently about the quality education

Yes, placements are offered in our college. The average package is 5 LPA. In the third year the students become eligible for placements.The companies that visits are deloitte, ey, kpmg, rsm, pwc, grandthornton, etc

Likes

The faculty seems to be amazing. You can make a lot of good connections, since we have eminent academicians from all fields.
The various college societies are unique and cover almost all kinds of extra curricular activities that make the college culture colourful and vibrant.
The infrastructure is better than a lot of DU colleges, classes are well ventilated and the campus is filled with greenery.

Dislikes

We do not have an auditorium. It was supposed to be rebuilt but it never does and a lot of programs are being hosted in smaller capacity as opposed to colleges who host their programs in an auditorium
The canteen seems to be lacking quality again and again. Even though the food is affordable it lacks hygiene and health.
There is a mixed crowd and it might get difficult to navigate friend groups or peer groups as you make your way into college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in thier third year of study and are eligible for internships throughout. Companies like the big 4 and all other renowned companies like wipro and all visit the college. Highest packages go around 12-13 lakhs while the average stay around 6 lakhs. Around 40-50 companies visit for placement every year and if internships are added the number goes over a 100. Percentage of students getting placed is generally lesser because of the completion again. A right guess would be around 15 percent. My plans after the degree is to apply for masters and PhD abroad.

There is a lot of greenery in our college.
There are a whole lot of clubs which you can join based on your interests.
The faculty is very cooperative. They are very chill.

Dislikes

The classes are not air conditioned so during summer time its very bad.
There is no auditorium in the college so for gathering there is atrium(badminton court)

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As I am in the 1st year only so I don't have any information about the companies visited & the number of offers made. I also don't have any information about the highest and the average package as per the company and the profiles offered. I don't know the percentage of students getting placements in my college. My plan after getting the degree is complete a cybersecurity course and do some bug bounty programs.

Stands as good College in list of NAAC and NIRF Ranking in all over India
My college focuse more on UG Research and conduct various programs around that
The Sport facility and Canteen Facility are good here. Also the environment.

Dislikes

Even though there are different desk for different couses the administrative block does the work in slower pace.
Some of the non-teaching staff are very rude and not supportive for helping students.
Some societies of college are well recognized while others don't even get any major support from college administration.

Likes

The faculty and their way of teaching is superb
The people that you will meet is widely diverse and it really shapes you as a person s you
People here mostly are very kind and always ready to help each other out

Dislikes

The crowd may turn violent sometimes due to political influence
Not all may enjoy the food provided in the canteen
There is no college auditorium which is quite disappointing

Placement Experience:

I'm a freshmen so I'm not really sure about placements and how it works. And as far as I can remember, the placements take place mostly for the students of commerce background. I don't think there's no such internship provided for non commerce students. I have very little idea about placements as I've mentioned before but some companies do provide placements like zomat, zudio, stanza living etc. The college placement cell is quite active and my friends try to always take part in it.
