Every year our college held internship fair which help students to grow and big companies recruiter also come to our college to give the placement opportunities to students.
Another thing that i liked is the financial affordability and the aids that the college is offering to the students who are not financially sound
Academics is great in my college. my college have best faculty of professor with great experience and knowledge
Dislikes
Placement - the rate of placement is low as compared toh other colleges
Most of the times the classes get cancelled by the teachers which causes discomfort for many students
The fees are quite affordable but still, it becomes a little difficult to afford for the students of very low academic economic backgrounds.
These insights are automatically extracted from student reviews
I liked the societies since they offered me new ways to grow
Dislikes
I disliked the class size, mainly due to over admissions
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course ranges from various discipline-oriented courses to skill enhancement courses. There also exist language courses and core conceptual courses which require a student to pass each and every aspect of the language tests. A class includes 90 students (Since admission took place in my year).
Infrastructure is well built and maintained. Classrooms, labs, seminar hall, sports field, etc is well equipped.
Faculty is regular and is highly qualified. Classes
Campus life is buzzling with student groups and societies. Enactus being the most active of all. The environment fosters development and provides exposure.
Dislikes
No auditorium. Despite spectacular infrastructure, the college lacks an auditorium. The auditorium is in construction for eternity.
Canteen food is disgusting and unhygienic. The food is overpriced and not at all tasty.
Toilets are not very clean and there are only 3 toilet areas for women in the entire campus.
Placement Experience:
Yes, the placement cell is very active. Placements are offered to final-year students. Big Four: PWC, EY, KPMG, and Deloitte offer placements along with other recruiters like DE Shaw, Trevista, and more. The majority of students sitting for placements get placed. The highest package is 21.5 Lakhs per annum.
I've been placed at EY in an internal audit.
The placement cell of our colleges is fabulous. Our college had a NIRF ranking of 5 in terms of placement.
Students of every course and every year are eligible they just need to register them on the site of the placement cell and then the process of an interview conducted.
The aura of the college is really nice and peaceful.
The teachers are really helpful and understanding.
There are many small events which are informative and entertaining.
Dislikes
The canteen food is not up to the mark and sometimes very oily.
The sitting area has problems are there are not too many sets available.
Some teachers are really strict and they don’t even try to understand other’s problems only drag there problems in between conversations.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because i wanted to pursue civil services. This was the main reason of my course selection because it gives a vide range to topics in a single course. The faculty was really sweet and very humble they helped me at every single step I felt confused.
Competitive environment that urge to keep learning alwys.
Infrastructure of the college is also well
Teachers are very cooperative and friendly in nature promoting to learn more skills not just textual knowledge
Dislikes
Semesters exam being conducted within 2months.
Even in preparation leave days practicals and viva were going on.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well, l opted for B.com program as I have interest in commerce field. Faculty is ok the way it should have been. College environment is very competitive. But after introduction of New Education Policy there were total of 7 subjects. And the sem 1 exams were held just in 2 months and even on the preparation days there were continuous practicals, externals going on that made it really very hectic for students.
The teaching as well as the supporting staff is very good
The college infrastructure is of very high level compared to other colleges of its league
Location is very prime since bus stands and metro stations are at walkable distance
Dislikes
Infield exposure is less and can be more practically confined
Placement opportunities for my course can have a lot of improvement.
College canteen is not well equipped and have a lot of scope for improvement
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course name is BSc. Applied Physical Sciences with Industrial Chemistry. I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the industrial chemistry field since this a very unique course with amazing career opportunities and very few colleges provide this course all over the country.
My course curriculum is very vivid concentrating more on the practical applications of the course including experiments that complement each and every aspect of the theoretical part of the course.
The faculty to student ratio is properly equipped with enough staff to cater and help each and every student in the college and hence no student is left unreached.
The qualification of the faculty is very high level as the selection process is very good. Most of our professors and teachers are well-known in their respective fields all over the country.
The examination system is highly calculated. Exams are held twice in a semester and every student is prepared well for them.
College ground is very big and garden is very beautiful. Sports ground are made for sports like volleyball, badminton, cricket table tennis etc. Whatever your are intersted in go and play according to your choice.
Our college has very good campus. Clean and green. Many trees and plants are rooted which make our college look very beautiful. It also protect and clean our environment. When wind blows it feels very good in our college.
Professors are also very good . Highly qualified. They teaches very good and have good knowledge of their feild in which they are teaching. Sometimes they give us treat also . Hahahaha.
Dislikes
College canteen in which the rates of food are very high. Earlier it was not so costly but after few months the prices of food started rising. And I don't like our canteen system. Be in queue take token then in too much crowd go and take food.
Few of the classrooms are very small . Its too small that sometimes all the students don't get seat to sit comfortably. We just adjust so that lecture can be attended.
Classes get cancelled. Professors sometimes don't take the classes regularly. We come to the college and then we came to know that there is no classes which make very irritating and time wasting.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I want to do MBA in the future and this course that is English Honours will help me a lot.
In our college, there are many boys and girls its a co-education college but in our course girls are more than boys only 10 boys are there and 40 girls. So you can imagine the condition and ratio.
The professors are highly educated. Done phd from same or other universities. Teaching methods are also good. The only problem is there that regular classes are not held. It gets canceled.
Exams are always taken on time at our university. If you study seriously for just one month also before the exam you will get a good percentage or cgpa. Yes of course it's the college you must enjoy it more but at least you must also read to pass the exam. Your overall marks will of course matter for your further studies. So work hard and maintain our scores. Enjoy a lot and study also guys.
Infrastructure and environment of college is quite nice
Location of college is good it is easy to get transportation facilities near our college
Faculty of our college is also good as compared to other DU colleges
Dislikes
Crowd of college is not good I don't like the crowd of the campus
Hygiene facilities are not up to the mark
Size of the classroom is smaller than the number of students
Placement Experience:
From the 5th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements.
Various companies visited our campus like the big 4(ey, PWC, KPMG, Deloitte) and many more.
Highest package - 10 LPA by Byjus, Average package - 6.5 LPA, Approx. 300 students get the placements from the college, Pursuing MBA.
Students usually become eligible in their final i.e. third year (don't have any idea about the future batches that will have a 4-year curriculum).
Big 4- Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC are our top recruiters.
The highest package is 10lpa on campus and 21lpa off-campus.
I plan of getting a placement or will perhaps go for a PG Course.
I don't have much idea but Wipro and Infosys are the common ones. I don't have any plans to take placements after college but some of my friends are going to take placements who belong to a commerce background.
