PGDAV Evening College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

3 semester students are mainly eligible for internships and placements .I am a first year student so I don't have any information related to the company's name but I know that the last year highest package was around 7 lakhs per annum . 20 percent of the students get placement from the college . My plans are to study MBA from IIM ahemdabad .

The course curriculum includes history and political science as core subjects and along with them we have courses like general electives, ability enhancement course, skill enhancement course, value additional course etc in which we study subjects like evs Hindi English which keeps changing in different semesters. The faculty members are really good. They teach us thouroughly and motivate the students to prepare for upsc examination or excel in other career fields.

The course and the faculty members are good but sometimes our professor doesn't take the lecture and cancels the class otherwise the behavior of the teachers are good and they help us every time, we want and If I talk about why I have chosen this course so it was because I want to prepare for civil services and I thought that if I will choose BA programme then I will be able to get maximum time to cover the syllabus of civil services

I chose this course because of my interest I want to study the subjects that were included in this course so I did so. There are many faculties in the university but some teachers do not come to class meaning there are fewer teachers for students the ratio would be around 1 teacher for fifty (50) to hundred (100) students. The teachers are TGT and have more upper qualifications. They did PhD in their respective subjects. Our exams were taken six or seven months a year.

From the fifth semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Many kinds of companies visited our college like Capgemini Infosys iOS Mahindra and so on they made so many offers for the students of a college who are eligible for campus placement. The highest package provided by the companies is 30 lacs. The average package of the college goes to 8 lahks. 100% placement seen in our college. After getting my degree I will take a job with help of our placement cell in our college.

Our college provides students with 100% campus placement for any course. Students are eligible for campus placement after 4th semester. Our 130 companies visited and offered thousand of offers to all the eligible students. The package was 35 lakhs in B.Com hons and the average package was 8 lakhs. Around 170 students are eligible and 168 are selected so it means 100% are placed. I have done many internships in college so I think I will be placed with the help of our college campus placement cell.

The course curriculum was great. The difference from bcom is that the course includes more practical knowledge. The faculty-student ratio was pretty great. It's 1 to 30 but usually, only 15-20 students attended the classes. The professors are well-qualified and experienced. The teaching method was like any other college. Few teachers you may find exceptional e.g., marketing professor. It's not at all difficult to pass the term exams you just need to know the basics and preparation for the last ten years papers. If you attend classes it's like a knife in butter.

The campus placement cell of PGDAV college organises all the palcement -related activities. These procedures mainly include pre- placement talks , internships . The PGDAV average placement packages was recorded at INR 4.67 LPA as per the college placement brochure .

last year the eligibility for placements, companies like - amazon, Infosys, Wipro etc come for placements but the placements are not at all good in this college. Placements are highly favourable for bcom, bcom hons, and eco hons. Other than these, there is nothing called placement in pgdav evening.

The faculty of the college is very friendly and sweet. The teachers are really helpful and motivating. The teaching methods are very efficient and lovely. Also, the various departments give a lot of exposure and experience.
