Rajdhani College: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 9 Reviews

Admission to the college is determined through a cut-off procedure, with applications submitted online via the university's website. The process kicks off with the publication of the first cut-off list. Prospective students exceeding the cut-off can proceed to document verification and must pay fees upon successful verification to secure admission. The college boasts a highly esteemed faculty, especially in the Physics department, with many experienced staff, including some IIT alumni.

The annual fee for the Physics Honors course is 11,000 INR, with most courses priced around 10,000 INR. Campus placements are available primarily in the electronics and research sectors, but participation is low at 1-2% due to modest salary offers, with a maximum of 10,000 INR. Graduates can pursue diverse career paths, including government or private sector roles, further studies, or research. The college hosts limited company visits from firms like Ernst and British India.

Internships are broadly available, including digital marketing roles offering 7,000-8,000 INR stipends over 3-6 months and opportunities like HCL with a 15,000 INR stipend per month. Scholarships are provided, especially for top-performing and socially disadvantaged students, awarded during the annual day in March. Tuition fees are affordable and relatively stable, recently increasing from 12,000 to 15,000 INR. Financial assistance is accessible through various scholarship programs and funds, such as the All India Entrance Examination Scholarship and Dr.

D S Rao Memorial Physics Prize. Despite some concerns about limited scholarships, financial aid is available given the college's national university status.
