SBSC Admission FAQs

Ques. Can I reorder my college preference after the first round in csas process or not?

Ans. Yes student can reorder preferences in the next round before allotment. DU give window for change preference. But only higher preferences can be changed, not lower ones. So the student must carefully arrange the list for the first time also. The wrong order can affect college allotment and chances of a better course.

Ques. If I select the upgrade option, will my old seat get cancelled automatically or not?

Ans. No old seat has been cancelled immediately. If the upgrade does not happen, then the old seat remains safe. But if an upgrade happen then the new seat need accept. If no action done then both can cancel. So students must check the dashboard properly and act on time always.

Ques. Can I participate in the spot round if I already got admission in sbsc before?

Ans. No, if a student has already taken admission and the seat freeze is in place, then they cannot go spot round. Spot round only for those who do not have a seat. Also, in the spot round, no upgrade option is available. So decision must be made carefully before going for spot admission.

Ques. what happen if i not pay the admission fees after seat allotment in csas portal?

Ans. If the student does not pay fees in given time, then the seat will be cancelled automatically.

Also student may lose a chance in the next rounds. So, fee payment is a very important step. Always pay before the last date to confirm admission properly.

Ques. Can I get the same college again if my seat is cancelled due to no action in CSAS?

Ans. It is not sure student will get the same college again. Seat depends on availability and marks. If the seats are full, then the chance becomes very low. So students should not take risks. Always accept or upgrade on time to avoid losing a good college like SBSC.

AI-Generated Summary based on 220 Reviews

Delhi University requires candidates to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to gain admission into the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} program. The application forms for CUET are available on the Samarth portal, usually opening in February, with a fee of around INR 1500 for four subjects. Eligibility includes passing Class 12, with requirements to have studied relevant subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and a language.

The CUET exam is moderate in difficulty and based on the Class 12 syllabus. For reservation categories, the required CUET score ranges from 580 to 620, while for the general category, it is between 720-750. After obtaining CUET results, students must register on DU's CSAS portal for counseling and seat allocation. This process involves filling out a preference list, and admission is subject to the cut-off scores. The timeline for CUET generally falls in May or June, but the entire admission process is criticized for its lengthy duration.

Students are encouraged to check the official DU website regularly for updates on admissions and cut-off announcements.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College: 1 Answered Question

What is the admission process for Shaheed Sukhdev college of business studies?

Abhilasha Garg
Saksham MalhotraBMS from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (Graduated 2020)

Candidates must have completed class 12th from any recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in the best four subjects, which must include Mathematics and English, to be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs offered at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

At CBS, there are two admissions processes:

Merit-based B.SC. (Computer Science) and entrance-based (BBA(FIA) and BMS).

To be admitted to Merit-based courses, you must meet the cutoff.

Every year, DU holds an entrance exam known as the DU-JAT for admission to entrance-based courses in SSCBS, administered by NTA. Admission to the BBA course with a specialization in Financial Investment Analysis is based on the score obtained in the test. The paper includes business-related Mathematics, Reasoning, English, and General Knowledge. Those who have cleared the entrance are called in.

However, the entrance exam is not the only admission criterion. When calculating the final score, the admission test score is given 65% weightage, while class 12th marks are given 35% weightage. You must await the university test notification. However, ensure that you are capable of succeeding in any situation.
