Government Engineering College Kozhikode Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college provides good placement. From Semester 7 students becomes eligible for campus placements. Recruiting companies are Larsen and toubro ,Infosys,TCS,Welspun Corp Ltd,Schneider Electric,Reliance Industries, UnoMinda Ltd etc The average package was 5 LPA and highest package was 7.5LPA on 2024.We got a total of 83 placement offer this year.Mechanical engineering department got 32 placement offer. A minimum of 40% student get placement every year.My plan after getting the degree is to get into L&T through college placement.

Curriculum that the college follows is outdated.But we can't blame the university alone for that the technology is ought to grow and if you can properly nurture yourself with the skills you can win in the long run.As of my course its a new generation course which is better than the outdated syllabus out there

My family is involved in medical field. So for making a change i have choosen B. Tech Mechanical Engineering, the Father of all other branches.Nowdays timings for university exams are regular and result publishment are also regular.

From the 7th semester onwards students can admit for campus placements The highest slary package was 12 LPA and average qas 4.5 LPA In our department 90% students get placement so in our whole college the percentage of students getting placement will be nearly 70-75% My plan is to take RRB exam after the digree and to join in indian railway as ALP(Assistant Loco Pilot)

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. But if a company willing to take students from lower semesters come that will also be entertained. Many companies visited the campus and each company made one offer. To name a few are Schneider Electric, L&T, TCS, Cognizant, Walkaroo international, Zydex, SPVC, Telestation, Aarbee Structures, Nexta Technologies, VKC Pride, etc. Highest package offered was ?50,000/- per month and ?25,000/- per month average. Almost 30-40% students get placed each year and many students opt for higher studies. Me myself qualified GATE 2 times and hence planning to repeat to get a better rank.

Final years get job.Companies like TCS,L&T, packages 20k-55k. A student got 3 offers.30% of the students got job.Need to get a job.Its better for my future.I like to work.My aim is to get good work.Iam excited to.

There are many companies visiting the college including TCS, Welspun, Cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, Intellipaat, Mitsogo, Schneider, QBurst etc.. The companies provide a good package for the students. Most of the students are getting placements.

students become eligible for campus selection from 7th semester onwards. The campus placements are not well recognised. The package is very low, only about 3.5 lacs average. Tata elxsi, Qurst etc. are some of the most recruitmg companies. Only below 50% students get placed

Chemical engineering is the one of the best course and developed course. We can see that there is a lot of industries and plants are working under this course. There is a huge opportunity for the students who studied chemical engineering

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements, mostly IT companies, MNC are available and L&T, VKC, Abree structures, Wipro, cognizant, TCS, and core companies like yokogawa, are offering placements for 9LPA is the highest package offered and 6LPA is average package. 60% of students are getting placed every year
