VGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this for chemical engineering. The faculty and student ratio is 50:1. Faculties are qualified for phd Or masters in engineering. Terms are of 6 months and in one term two exams one internal and one external. Passing is difficult. Because of gtu university.

The placements are good and average. It is all around 40 to 50 percent per year placement in civil engineering. There are many companies are visited our college for placement like Tata, reliance, concern, L&T etc. My plan after getting the degree is for a government job in the technical side.

Well-known companies like TCS, Cybage, E-Infochip, Hitachi, Torrent, Tech Mahindra, and L&T Infotech, visit the campus and hire students as per their requirements. Computer science, EEE, and mechanical students also have very nice placements. The number of CSE and its students are placed more than other branches.

The placement is decent. The average package is 4 lacks per annum. But mostly students of Computer, It and Ec got placed. Then Electrical and Chemical students got placements. Other branch students do not get handsome placements.

The college has a strong record of corporate placement with well-known companies such as IBM, Infosys, TCS, E-Infochip, Reliance, NIRMA, Torrent Power, Argusoft, TatvaSoft, Hitachi, Maruti Technolabs, Adani Enterprises regularly visiting campus to hire students as per their requirements. Students from Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics and Communication streams generally receive higher packages from these companies. In the 2023 pass-out year, a total of 417 students received job offers from these companies.

It is a very wide field that's why I have chosen this. The faculty is excellent. They have deep knowledge in their respective areas. Exams are pretty simple but hard as well. Teaching method is also appropriate and understandable.

The campus placements are very good. We are eligible for placement from semester 8. There are companies like TCS, Infosys, etc these types of companies are coming for offering campus placements. The highest package is 22 lakhs, the one student got in a branch of IT. 60% of student was getting placements every year.

I choose computer science because I always wanted to do that and VGEC is one of the best colleges in Gujarat to pursue Computer science Engineering. Faculty: student ratio is something you can conclude by knowing that there are two teachers per subject. And we have mid-sem, internal viva, and end-sem exams every sem. And also external viva but after 5th sem.

My rank was 7000 so I got electronic and communication branch I have taken the admission to this branch, and the faculty is good. coming to the point of lectures that good faculty are well educated

This time the placement started at the middle of the 7th sem but our HOD is asking that at our time it will start early like at the starting of 6th sem. This time the Infosys company also came and the 55-60% have got placement
