Why come to St. Xavier's College Kolkata

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is to be paid each semester in two installments. Usually the first installment is around 15k and the second installment is around 20k. This is paid in two semesters so yearly the amount comes up to 60-70 k. These do change every year so one has to keep themselves updated regularly.

St Xavier’s Calcutta . Is it worth it?

Student Snaps:

The total fee comes out (for ba english ) to be 205200. With each semester, an amount of 58,000 has to be deposited. There are number of scholarships run by the college authorities . These may include special consideration for the Christian students, some of them also avail the Pradhan mantri scholarship programs which makes it even more less expensive for the students (generally from Kashmir or the north eastern parts of India.)

Review of St Xavier's Collegiate School

A total of 31900 including admission, additional, tuition, session, registration, first-semester exam, development, mark sheet, library, and cyber facility fee was required after getting selected for the college. Reservations are available for Christian, SC, OBC students. The scholarship is available to all students who score a min of 50% in each semester.

A GLIMPSE OF ST XAVIER'S

Dislikes

The strict attendance structure, well its not that bad , 75% mandatory under that there is condonation fees .

Tuition fees for my course roughly sums up to to 70k. So the payment structure of a semester is two installments. During admission along with the admission charges you will pay the 1st semester's 1st installment. The whole process is fully digitalized. There is financial aid from Christian students and students in need. Regarding internships and campus employment, it is mandatory to get complete an internship within your second year under NEP.

College life so far

The strictness on studies. The exams are always taken on time!

The fees are paid in 2 installments for each semester. Each year has 2 semesters. Each installment costs around 10000 rupees approximately. There are no other fees to be paid. There are placement opportunities. There is a placement cell too to help students find internships and jobs.

St. Xaviers: The Road Onwards.

Fees remained more or less same in each semester. The cost of studying was moderate. Those who were not financially well of could apply for assistance after showing income certificate.There was no campussing for English Literature students though there were workshops organised for career consultation.

Best College To Guide Your Future

The fees are pretty good and also affordable for the course. It's 17500/semester and at the time of admission, the college takes 20000 for admission fees. Every student who scores 75% in a year, gets a scholarship for this.

Life at St Xavier's, Kolkata.

The fee structure is quite affordable as one has to pay 8100 for a quarter and additional fees is only included at the beginning of a new year. However, scholarships are made available for the students who are in need of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course a literature based subject. The professors make sure that we learn to increase our creative intelect. The syllabus is so diverse in nature that we get a feel of evolution and how down the years the society changed and so did it's thought process.
