I got admission in st xaviers on the basis of merit. I have chosen political science as i liked the subject very much and i am interested in studying comparative politics and international relations.

There is no criteria such as entrance examination. A student just have to get required percentage in his/her 12th boards exam (Depends upon board) and then a personal interview is taken.

This college is best known for its Commerce Stream of Studies -both Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate. In fact it is consistently ranked among the best in India. Moreover, for students doing Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) course simultaneously along with Under-Graduate studies.

The marks for Higher Secondary are counted. If you have good marks I mean above 85% you will get chance in this college. I had the required marks, thus I got chance in this college. I opted for this college because its one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

The college is good although it can be a bit better if the infrastructure of the college is imroved a bit. Also the exams must be made yearly rather than semester wise. But still its a dream college for every student.

There was no entrance exam for the college. It was based on the merit of marks obtained in class12. Interview process is very brief where dean and vice principal meets the student.

IIT JEE rank 9000 i want to do research in physics. So i took this choice. Admission process is clear payment is made online everything fare good admission process is quite fast.

The College management is very friendly. They do help out the students whenever we need help. They are the backbone of the collegee. Many of them are highly qualified. The College management is extremely approachable for the students and even their parents during designated visiting hours.

There is no entrance exam for getting into St Xavier's college. The only criteria is scoring better then others in your higher secondary. As far as the question of choice is concerned. Xavier's is one of leading colleges in India and has been amongst top 3 commerce colleges for a long time.

After passing my H.S. examination,I have got 90% marks in W.B. and i have taken admission in St xaviers kolkata which is one of best colleges here. I was taken on merit list. There is no process of entrance exam for b.com students and after that i was called for interview with the vice principle of the college.
