Swami Shraddhanand College: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 3 Reviews

The University of Delhi starts its admissions in May with a common application form, followed by merit lists from June end, based on 12th-grade scores. Students can select colleges and courses accordingly. The faculty is knowledgeable, supportive, and adapts well to curriculum changes under the NEP. The college offers an affordable fee structure, with no course surpassing Rs 15,000 annually. The first semester's fee is higher, reducing in subsequent terms. However, the college lacks placement services, requiring students to secure jobs independently.

Despite this, the curriculum is robust, covering projects like gene cloning and microbial culturing. The microbiology course costs Rs 15,205 annually, with an additional Rs 2,000 exam fee per semester, totaling Rs 76,000 over four years. Scholarships are available, especially for OBC/SC/ST students, though details are sparse. Delhi University offers a financial scheme for fee refunds to eligible students. Internships start in the second year, with opportunities in institutions like IISER. There's a noted fee increase of Rs 200 in the second year for the reviewer's department.
