Admission is given through JET exam of 100 marks.Selected candidates are then passed to next round with JET exam scores carrying 50% weightage.Shortlisted candidates went through orientation and interview for which remaining 50% is allotted.

Though there are many facilities and amenities offered here but i like the library the most. FTII library has a huge collection of more than 31000 resources which includes books that covers various subject areas like cinema and other related subjects to Indian cinema.

First round written. Second round interview and audition. Third round 3 day workshop. It is the best film institute in Asia with great infrastructure, industry professionals as visiting faculty and great philosophy of learning and living.
