The college offers a variety of scholarships based on different criteria, including merit, entrance exam scores, and specific achievements. Key scholarships include the FTII Scholarships, worth INR 12,500 per month, available to outstanding students in the three-year Diploma courses in Film and Television or the One Year Certificate Course in Television. Approximately 30 FTII Scholarships are available, alongside other scholarships such as the 'Vidhu Vinod Chopra Scholarship' for the top performer in the second semester of the Film Direction & Screenplay Writing Course.
Additional scholarships are based on Joint Entrance Test ranks, state criteria, category, and gender. The institute also provides government-backed loan facilities and complies with Ministry of Information and Broadcasting guidelines. A merit-based scholarship of INR 1 lakh is available after the first year, and the SPIC MACAY scholarship supports studies in various art forms, such as Kathakali.
