New Delhi: Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune is inviting applications for admission to its Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023. Interested candidates can apply by submitting their applications on the official website by November 29, 2023.
The online course will be conducted by FTII Pune under its ‘Centre for Open Learning (CFOL)’ initiative in association with National Film Development Corporation (National Film Archives of India). The program will commence from December 04 to December 22, 2023.
The course will be held online and participants are required to have full access to the following four OTT platforms throughout the period of the course: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar and MUBI. The use of a Mobile Phone (in place of Laptop or Desktop Computer) to attend the classes is strictly prohibited.
The FTII Pune Winter Film Appreciation Course will be directed by Prof. Pankaj Saxena, an FTII alumnus with a Diploma in Film Editing and a Post Diploma in Film Direction. FTII Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023 Eligibility, Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the FTII Pune Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023, candidates need to be HSC (12th pass). In exceptional cases, the 10th pass may be considered. Selection will be based on a first – Come – First – Served Basis.
The official notice reads, “A list of selected participants will be published on our website and selection emails will also be sent to all the selected participants. All communications with the participants will be carried out through email only. A list of shortlisted participants will be published on the FTII website and a selection email will be sent to the selected participants on their registered email id”.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to complete their registration process for FTII Pune Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the “SB Collect” option available under the FTII Pune Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023 notice.
Step 2: Search/Find FTII Fees Account in Educational institutions and click select “Winter Film Appreciation Course 2023”.
Step 3: Fill up the application form and make the necessary payment.
Step 4: Once payment is done, note "SBI collect Reference Number” for future reference.
Step 5: Submit the form to complete the application process.
Candidates must note that no document/ certificate related to educational qualification, age etc. is to be attached. Participants’ self–declaration in the application form is sufficient.
