BMSCE Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My KCET rank actually turned out pretty okay but not so much in JEE mains. As BMSCE is ranked 6th by India Today and 6th by the Week Best Engineering College Survey I chose BMSCE after I made it through the KCET cutoff, I think I did not go to the university physically, I just paid the admission fee through the admission portal. It was almost two years ago s I cannot remember how much the fee was though, probably a thousand bucks. Might have gone up a bit too.

After coming to the College, I was confirmed that I haven't made a mistake by joining this College. I really liked the faculty and staff here.All the professors are well qualified and are holding PHD with many research papers. They come with the best way to provide us knowledge and better skills.we have around 65 students in the class and student ratio is quite good about 6:4 as the no. Of boys is more.

To be honest, I wanted to stay in Bengaluru and travel from home so this was the best college I was getting. It worked out great for me as BMSCE is ranked 6th by India Today and 6th by the Week Best Engineering College Survey. Once I qualified through the KCET cutoff, need to pay the admission fee by visiting the college website and the admission portal. I actually cannot remember how much that was, but it was a nominal amount.

First off, my college BMSCE is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade, approved by AICTE and affiliated with VTU. Secondly, the placement rate is 100% with highest package of 12 LPA and most importantly, the overall fee is 1.08 lakh for MBA program. Furthermore, the course curriculum, faculty members, feedbacks everything about this college was good when I checked the official website and heard from others. And then I decided to take admission here. For admission, I applied by filling the application form. Earlier I had appeared in KMAT examination, so I provided the marks scored in that exam while filling the application form. On the basis of my score, I got selected for admission and finally I am here pursuing MBA in marketing.

I have heard that B.M.S college of Engineering hold 1st position in B.Tech programs in Bangalore and this university also gives better opportunity of placement than other Engineering colleges . So I have chosen this university. To take admission firstly I have applied for COMED-K exam and appeared for this exam. Finally I got the selection letter through score of COMED-K exam.

The placements start from the 7-8th semester as I am a second-semester student I haven’t visited any company nor I know about the packages. I don’t know the percentage of the placement that is needed. I want to pursue my higher studies abroad and I want to work in a well off company

4th year students are eligible for placement, but 3rd year student can go for mandatory internship programme. 1st and 2nd year can go for volunteered internship . For placement check the college website. There you'll find all those companies which come to hire and Recruit.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. Many companies come to our college. Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc are just some of the many. They give many offers based on the individual. Highest I have no idea but one which u heard was around 36 lacks and average also no idea. The percentage of students getting placed is around 90. I haven't planned anything yet.

It is one of the top college in Karnataka, having reasonable college fees. Good placements and infrastructure. Ambience of the college is good. Very supportive faculty in academic activity. Scope for extra curricular activities.
