The course curriculum followed that of the university of Calcutta under which this college falls. It was an annual graduate degree. Which was changed to a semester system from the year next to ours which is 2015 batch if I know correctly. The Faculty had very talented teachers and the ratio of teachers to students though less was still pretty well maintained. Teachers taught well and in a strict environment becoming a very good environment for educational prowess.

I chose this college because firstly I preferred girls college because I feel more comfortable, secondly I heard that the faculty members of this college are really highly qualified. I have opted for this course because I want to do my higher studies in Computer Science.

1. Bethune college is primarily a government college, so the overall cost of the undergraduate program is much cheaper. 2. Also, the English department is considered as the heritage department of this college. Definitely the reputation is one of the reason as well.

One of the best government colleges in Kolkata. Our college is also famous for acquiring a rank every time in university exams. The faculty is also very qualified and thus gives amazing lectures. Also this college has a historical background.

No other College had their applications open. I had been rejected from the other courses I had applied to, like medical and engineering. Long after the board results were out I had to take the decision of choosing another stream, so.

Bethune is one of the prestigious colleges that has till date maintained its standards. One of the major reasons to take admission is that Bethune keeps itself completely isolated from the political turmoil which quite a normal thing for any college under university of Calcutta. It has some really experienced professors who are very approachable as well as helpful.

Excellent college with very good, supportive, guiding & knowledgeable faculty . It is the first women college established in Bengal. Lab facilities are also good, Many informative seminars & webinars are also held here.

This is the first women's college in Asia that influenced me most and also it is very disciplined, strict, non-political institute where study is the main thing. As I completed my higher secondary level from Bethune Collegiate School, so this college attracted me most. The environment of this college is so beautiful and peaceful that help students to prosper. The results are very good and also placement offers from department help students to make their future bright.

Bethune is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. The teaching is immaculate. It really gives you a sense of freedom and power, while helping you grow in your own way. I have to put in a word for my department. I do not believe that the professors in the English department could be replaced by anyone else.

It is a heritage institute of good repute. It has very good departments with the most helpful professors. Moreover, the homely and peaceful academic environment of the college makes the whole experience a memorable one.
