MSRIT Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement is the reason I choose the college. This academic year 2023-24 there are in total 1600 offers made and 84% placement has been done. The other unplaced students got off campus placement and also went for further studies

Many companies visit the college for hiring the students. Students gets eligibility for placements from third year which is fifth semester, if student have made some good projects have higher chances of getting placed in third year itself. To sit in the interviews the companies demands so specific CGPA students must have their CGPA greater than or equal to the demanded CGPA by the company then only the student can sit in the interview. Their are many companies like Microsoft, Adobe, JP Morgan, Volvo, etc.. visit the campus for hiring the students. Many got placed with good packages and almost seventy to eighty percent of students get placement. The highest package went upto fifty five lakh rupees a girl from computer science branch got this highest package and average package is seven lakh rupees. If I get placed in campus I continue with same company for some time and if I got better opportunity or good package in some other company I will join their, if I not got placed in on campus I will go with off campus and give interviews in multiple companies in which i get better package I will join their.

i) Industry-aligned curriculum, hands-on projects, and specializations like AI, Data Science and Cyber Security.. ii) RIT Curriculum provieds strong foundations, practical skills and research opportunities, preparing students for industry and further studies. iii) Improvement of case studies iv) Regular exams, moderate difficulty, with 2 internals and 1 semester end exam.

6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A CGPA of 7.5 and above makes you eligible for most of the companies. The placement record of my college has been great this year. 1200+ offers were made with an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students who applied for placements are placed now. The average placement of my branch (CSE AI ML) was 15 lakhs. The highest placement was 55 lakhs by Microsoft but it was off campus. My plans after getting a degree is to pursure MBA

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)

Placement starts at the end of 3rd year, generally all the companies related to IT field complete their placements in the month of August at the starting of 4th year while the placement for core companies for branches such as mechanical Electrical and electronic happens throughout the year specially in January and February. The placement percentage is around 50 to 70% do the real number is not revealed by the placement cells The highest package this year is 52 lakhs from an instrumentation student of campus in Microsoft The average package varies across different branches depending upon if it is it related or core, though the average packages around 8 to 9 lakh to 11 to 12 lakhs Big companies like 99acres Capgemini cognizant Philips ge healthcare Microsoft Mercedes JP Morgan Accenture Apple visits the campus or have visited the campus in the past years.

So coming to curriculum we have 8 subjects from which kannada, english, health, these are easy for me. Maths and physics are also good as I've given jee advanced.mechanical is about physics itself so it is ok ok.

Placements of this college are good especially for Computer science related branches. In 7th semester students are eligible for sitting in campus placement .And for internship they can take from 5th semester onwards. This year highest on campus placement was 33.57 Lpa by phone pe and off campus was 52 lpa by Microsoft. Average of cse related branches is 12lpa and for total is 9 lpa. Around 90% students placed in this year. My plan after degree is to get a good package.

The mechanical department gets placements form few companies like benz boeing and some other and your placements starts for 7th sem and your eligibility is 7 cgpa and students with more than 9 cgpa get good placements and the beat package would be 2 lakhs per month

Placement record of my college is good with a highest package of 55LPA and the avg Package is around 8-9 lakh ; after the 2nd year students are enrolled to a special plecement course provided by the college to improve their soft skills,technical skills and much more
