From the end of 6th semester the student gets eligible for campus placements. Almost 250 to 350 companies visit with almost all the top companies for the placement process and offers made is between 1300 to 2000. Highest package for this year was 52LPA 2024 and average is 8-12LPA with 95% placement rate. If a person doesnt get placed in 6th sem he also has chance till 8th sem end to get placed in which most of them get placed.

There are some students who got job when they were at 5 th sem and mostly by the end of 7 th sem majority of the students will get placed. All the top companies like Microsoft Apple IBM Google Nvidia and many other major companies visit campus Highest package last year was around 50 lacs for an ise student and average for ise is around 10 lacs Almost 95 percent of students get placed Me and my friends are working on a startup if it works I guess I will go with it.

As I know from the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited and many offers were made. As of now the highest CTC was around 50 lakhs. The average package is around 10 lakhs.Around 90 % students gets campus placement. After I complete my degree I have planned to get campus placement.

To be honest the course I'm in isn't the 'choosen' one. I always had a preference of getting into a good college irrespective of branch, so this branch EIE isn't the choosen branch for me . The college curriculum is okayish...like there's nothing new in it...what sucks is the Lab components which is the exhausting part of whole semester, Internals here are easy specially for 1st years, so if you planning for a branch change just be sincere and you will be able to Sem end exams are little tougher , so there's a saying that goes here..."internals me jitne number badhane hai badha lo kyuki sem end to lene wali hai :( "...So try getting 25+ out of 30 in your every internal. and yes assignment here are very easy to do so they are FREE marks, don't mess with that

The information science engineering curriculum at Ramaiah Institute of Technology is well balanced that covers both fundamental concepts at the beginning and more advanced concepts later on. But when it comes to real world applications as in jobs , i'm not very sure if it makes us industry ready as we are only thought about a subject and every student's focus is only on scoring marks rather than learning about the subject and where it can be applied in real life but some professors who are passionate about the subjects create a curriculum specific to what is important for us to learn in regard with placements and real life jobs which makes a lot more sense as a student as i would not have to start from the scratch when i actually start working in a company which is really what one wants from his professors and his college and the whole point of the information science engineering degree . To conclude , our curriculum is pretty old where they teach technologies such as jsp which are not very in use or trend according to the market status and are also extremely difficult as subjects themselves. But since we are under the software domain the course is pretty worth it as hopefully most of the software students will be placed with decent high packages.

the currriculum is good and very versatile speaking of which. the syllabus is easy to understand mostly few subjects are tough . for a good job personal hardwork is required more. after the first unit test there is lot of assignments and stuffs.

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placement there are more than 100 of companies visit every year highest package of 2024 is 51 lpa and avg is 10 lpa 100 percent of students gets placed

I am currently not into the placement thingy as i have just started my 3rd year but heard a quite about the placements the college the highest is aroung 70 to 75 LPA and the average is ariund 12-14 LPA. Our college also offers masters program in abroad that is it is in collab with the University of ILLNOIS. After 3rd year students above certain CGPA are given chance to complete their degree here or complete B.E with M.E in ILLNOIS.

From end of 6th sem the companies will start coming. Companies like Amazon, Myntra, Blinkit, infosys, acmegrade, micron semiconductor, nvidia.. all the big companies to small companies will come. The highest package of this year was 50 lpa, average is 6-7 and lowest is 2-3 lpa. 70% of students gets placed who are serious about their placement. Serious means...who are literally sitting for every company trying their best till the placement session ends

Good placement compared to Rv and bmsce it's low but compared to other colleges it is one of the best placement drive in Karnataka . Every students can participate every less cgpa that's mine important for students point of view
