UGI Allahabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

UGI has two Engineering colleges. One is the United College of Engineering and Research (UCER), Allahabad and the second is the United Institute of Technology (UIT), Allahabad. Opt for UCER over UIT if you have both options available.

College management is responsible. It checks students time time.

I did not took any entrance exam.

College management really needs to work on placements because a job is the only thing that student wants after graduation. Secondly, the facilities in the hostel really need to be improved or no student would chose to stay in the hostel.

Actually they are seeking for students, students are not seeking for them. I gave IIT JEE through. But I got my stream from direct.

UPTU Entrance Exam. I got 1577 Rank in GEN category. I don't want to miss home made food that's why choosen this college. It's just 8km from my home.

I took part in UPSEE 2001 in which i got not very good ranking . At year 2001 no score was available to display in UPSEE exam . I took admission because it was near from my native place(Ballia U.P.) even my seat was belonging from free seat .

I gave UPSEE and I got 28000 rank. I opted this college because I found positive reviews of Allahabad college.

Good :In My Third year my DAA teacher always remember me. Because of her teaching style.Bad: Teachers are not good in technical knowledge. So student always feel nervous in interview.

CAT - 88 percentile, Fees was less and I heard that its reputation is good in terms of placement. Interview was held through 3 panel members for 10-15 minutes. No tricky questions were asked.
