Placement Experience:

Yes, there is a 1 year internship included in the cariculum. After 4.5 year course, the students have to attend 1 year compulsory intership. During this period students get the exposure with the patients and can learn to practice medicine. Stipends are provided by the government at the period of intership.

Placements which you cannot avail from college and for that you need to go to private in case of private consultant and to write an exam in case of government service.Yes the college provides internship for an year and experience will be around one year and stipend will be variable according to government norms.

It is based on our intrest and choises. Here we can opt various local public health centre as health officer or we can go to private hospital sectors. Most of them prefer the Pg preperation and higher studies.
