Bcom honor in accounting and finance is very well known course and i thought this was very helpful to increase my skills in finance that's why I choose this course. The main things they should improve in the course is before the course is 3 year now the course is around 4 years calcutta university should think about this this was so time consuming for the student.

Faculty. Very supportive and friendly teachers.
Dislikes
Few campus placement opportunities for students
More assignments and projects should be assigned on real life situations.
Should implement such study techniques that would make students industry-ready.
Placement Experience:
Not many companies came but placement drive is held every year. I believe the placement committe of the colleges can do better by inviting more companies with diverse job roles. If one doesn't get placed from campus they can apply from various job portals or broaden and increase their skill set by doing industry specific courses. Those students who have completed their graduation can opt for masters and can also pursue for further higher education if they want. Nowadays, the opportunities of earning and learning are endless.
The admission to this college is based on the merit secured in the previous qualifying exam. For the undergraduate courses, it is the merit of class 12th which serves as the basis of selection. For the postgraduate courses, it is the merit achieved in the graduation which is the major deciding factor. A candidate has to secure at least 45 per cent marks in the graduation to be able to take admission.
Admission in this college is done on the basis of merit in which the student must have to to pass the 12th examination with good percentage and must have completed his or her graduation from any recognised University.
Due to my unique strategy in spending money without going off-limits, I decided to pursue B.Com Hons. The college does not have any entrance exam for this course. Selection is done on the basis of first-come, first-serve but a candidate with good percentage has a chance of making a late appearance (According to the official information)
I would not say it is the best college for BA english hons. But it is a good one. It provides ample amount of knowledge. The college is very affordable and also provides scholarships to the meritorious and poor students.
The admission to the postgraduate courses is granted on the basis of marks scored in the graduation. The application process is through an online medium where we have to submit all the relevant details and upload the scanned copies of the required documents. The selection is done by the college on the basis of merit.
This College otherwise is also best because of its facilities provided or offered to the students like scholarship Or half fees studentship financial assistance prices placements seminars and shops Auditorium canteen common room cycle stand photocopier student health room Book bank first aid service.
I applied legitimately for the initiation of BA. reasoning as my primary course and the affirmation rules is only that every single understudy must achieve around 55% in his/her higher auxiliary school level.
