Ideal college for nursing students with good facilities

Likes

Herberium is available for student for walking after 4 or during hoilday and availablity of library is too good for students where wifi connection is also available. In hostel,whashroom are separate, clean by cleaning staff regularly even on sunday
Mess fee not too much as compare to other colleges and they provide quality food because we and doctors and other staff share same mess and hostel are overall good with good facilities of maintainance and water availablity 24 hours
Teachers are good and supportive and help to complete there dnc requirement and community posting are very easy with there support and enjoyful.in first year a vaction trip is also provided.my batch got vaction for madavgarh

Dislikes

No particulat classroomis given to 1st year so issue and problem hpapen sometime but overall it okay because classroom is given when lectute is going on. And also ac are not available in all classroom
Hostel are good but as a 1st year of gnm student you have to stay in dorm and room is provided in 2 nd year and ground floor are too small for three people to reside together , some almirah in room is not in good condition.overall it is fine
Too much events and activities even at times of exam ,it effect our result badly.but there is less theory exposure as conpared to clinicals ,this can be a problem for students with no science backgroynd

Placement Experience:

Students after completed gnm or bsc can directly work in hospital Student pass from this college can work in holy family hospital easily wothout any exam And can also in other hospitsl but they have to give exam and interview to work In holy family hospital average package is 25000 to 30000 Some hospital also give 15000 to 20000 There is no percent for getting placement it depends on entrace exam of hospital in which you are going to work I am planning for futher study (post basic) After completing my gnm

My experience as a nursing student

Likes

The experience earn is really valuable and very good
Hostel facility is also good and good environment
The learning facility is also excellent and satisfying

Dislikes

Events will not be as grant as other colleges
Hostel is compulsory and everyone should stay in hostel
It is a girl college and so yea there can problems but it is fun at the same time

Placement Experience:

Placement is giving in Holy family hospital new delhi The college is under the hospital's authority The new fresh grad salary is approximately 24000 which is really good salary for a new grad nurse And the students gets placement in the hospital I also have plans for working in holy family college of nursing

My College is my pride.

Likes

The campus is very good. Herbarium is there which is very safe as it is under cctv surveillance and used to walk in the evening as well as in the morning hours. There lots of plants are present as well as different types of flowers are also present.
Here, the faculties are very good. They are very good at teaching. Their teaching method is very good.
Principal ma'am is very kind and nice. She always understands the students' situation and try to solve the problem at the earliest.

After completing the course qe can apply for further studies such as Post basic BSc , MSc, etc. The hospital authorities auch as Nursing Superintendent provides the opportunity to work here only after completing the nursing course.

Life at hfcon

Likes

Practical experience is excellent here..
Quality of education is excellent and teacher are experienced
Green lushy campus around the college ..

Dislikes

Some rooms of hostel are small and have inadequate space
Workload is very much and it is hectic .
Some much construction these days and washrooms are common

Placement Experience:

Placement is available after completion of course I. E after 4th year . Placement is done on their own hospital holy family hospital. As per vaccancy department of choice is alloted . 25000 approx is the monthly package . 100%placement available.

College life worth remembering

Likes

The faculty is dedicated as compared to other nursing colleges
The senior faculties and the experienced faculties have vast knowledge with years of experience making the journey easy for students.
College is dedicated to produce competent nurses with excellent hands on practice and bedside training.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be a bit modified as the seating problems usually arise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum to be honest is hectic. There are lot of requirements and lot of cases that has to be taken but that would make the students teach about time management and how to judiciously make use of time. Teachers teacher but ultimately there are seminars that are conducted by the students themselves frim the first year itself so the time restrain is a problem

Best Nursing college

Holy family college of nursing has best academics, unlike other colleges this college takes interest in every student individually.
Proper health care facilities are provided to students free of cost along with diagnostic tests and everything.
In my opinion this college provides best clinical expertise, every student is taught from basics. This college provides clinical experience in every field i.e, pediatrics, gynaecology, community, medical surgical nursing, psychiatric and ot experienc

Dislikes

There is no AC facility in hostel during summer
College infrastructure is somehow inconvenient as less number of classrooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college turns you into one of the best nurses with great experience in almost every field, This college prepares you with best clinical experience and students are taught from basics. Community health nursing in my opinion need some improvement. Exams are held on semester basis, there are total 8 semesters. Teachers complete their syllabus prior to exams and help every student get ready for exams.

Its all about the college

I would like to thank this college for immaculate concept of teaching and handling the curriculum. As far of these years I have learnt a lot about my own self .
This college helped me to learn varieties of things about my own like how capable I am and how I'm just not on the point of searching good opportunity for my own self by just neglecting those
Faculty is immensely amazing for students they help alot in many ways be it curriculum or not

Dislikes

The crowd here is a bit different I did find some difficulty in adjusting at first as of new generation it's a bit rude to treat people as a stranger
Some of the places where I was a bit disappointed was about the other department such as account and admission as there were many difficulties for some process

I was very much interested in some of the parts of this course as I was hearing a lot about it and this is why I enrolled There are many projects and submission which allowed us to go out of the box and explore more It is a bit difficult for us to manage exams and classes

Hfcon and its deeds

Likes

The facility and faculty is nice great adjustable and gives a good studious environment
The seniors are very helpful and friendly makes college fun and easy
Activities and events are very fun and exciting also the clinical exposures provided by holy family are better than any other colleges of nursing

Dislikes

Mess facilities and timmings are not very comfortable and the food quality
Maintenance facilities are also very poor and need to be improved
There is a lot of academic pressure on students and week offs aren’t adequate

Placement Experience:

The college provides theirs students with placement in the holy family hospital it self in a freshman state and provides a decent amount of salary allong with facilities and helps them gain experience for further growth
