REC Kannauj Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

the 7th semester, you are eligible for the placement, and companies like Wipro, and Infosys will come some students can go for off-campus placement. in this college highest placement is 10lpa and the lowest is 3 LPA approx. 90% of students who go for placement got placement. I planned for Higher studies.

The Faculty in the college Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj of BTech Electronics Engineering branch is highly educated all of them are IIT graduates/postgraduates and some of them are persuing PhD from IITs as well.

I wanted cse that's why I opted for it. Faculties are enough as per students ratio. Faculties are finely educated themselves, I will say some Faculties teaching methods are good as they teach basics properly but few of them are like they will teach you supposing you have already some idea about topic, but overall they are supportive and help with any query. 2 CT's and a final sem exam in a sem, you can pass CT by studying over night But you have to study a little more for finals

My course is EL electronics engineering. The faculty of electronics is helpful and knowledgeable also as all the faculty are Ph.D. holders. There were two Ct's between semesters. The semester exam is moderate not very tuff nor very easy.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to get placement. There are good campus placements for CSE The average package is 5-6 lac and the highest 12 lac Companies are TCS, HCL etc My plans after B.tech are to do M.tech after clearing GATE

3rd year passout or 4th year students can go for placement. Highest package till date is 11 lakhs from electronics and computer science branch in byju, Wipro,etc. Mostly students from this college goes for higher studies

There is no placement offered in this college. Because IIT kanpur one of the best engineering college in India. And HBTU is also renowned college for engineering is Very near to the college. Hence placement is very affected by these colleges. But some of my college seniors got good placement in company like Amazon, TCS, Byjus. And others.

Because the college is new so there is no more information about placement but Some of our college students get placed in companies like Wipro Byjus, TCs, and Capgemini Accenture. Most of them are from computer science engineering. But many of students cleared the Gate exam from the college.

Good aspects are- 1) It's a state government College, so fees is less as compared to other private Institutions. 2-) Students of this government colleges gets scholarship first, as provided by UP government. 3-) Scholarship includes a total tution fees+ hostel fee nearly about 64000 4-) Most of the faculties are from IITs and NITs Bad aspects are- 1-) College campus is under construction, So boys of (2, 3,4) year has to live outside the hostel. 2-) Lack of proper full fledged canteen 3-)campus is located 22km remotely from the City kannauj, 4-) There's no nearby multiplex, malls, parks etc. Reason for preferring this college because of easily accessibility- the college is 10 km far from Lucknow -Agra Expressway. And take nearly 1:30 hour to reach to Lucknow by your own vehicle.

Because of Government College and getting Computer Science and Engineering course in B Tech. College is located in Kannauj it is located near to my house. Also government engineering colleges gives edge over private engineering colleges and also have good reputation. Here we can get good facilities with very less fees payment i.e 90000 overall including room rent and mess while in private engineering colleges you will need to pay huge amount for same facilities.
