International Institute of Sports & Management Mumbai Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

International Institute of Sports Management offers admission to Bachelors of Sports Management. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the Entrance examination conducted by the Institution.

IISM Mumbai BSM Eligibility Criteria:

• 12th final examination qualified students can apply for admission to the course.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• At least 45% of marks should be secured SC/ST category candidates.

IISM Mumbai BSM Selection Criteria:

• Stage I is a step wherein aspirants will have to share an Essay on a particular topic given. This consists of 80 marks. Aspirants will be given two days to submit their essay on the email Id: essay@iismworld.in. The second step consists of Overall Performance & SMAT The Overall Performance considers the Academic score, Sports Achievements & Extra-curricular Activities for 20 marks.
• Stage II will be an online Video-Call based Personal Interview for 120 marks.
• The total weightage of Stage I and Stage II will be 300. Aspirants need to score 60% cumulative of Stage I and Stage II in order to secure Admission at IISM.

IISM invites applications for admission to the post-graduation Masters in Sports Management course. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in Caselets, SMAT. MAH-CET qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination and will be called for Interviews.

Graduation degree holder can apply for admission to the course. Minimum of 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.

• Caselets are the first step in Stage I of the Admission Process. Here, an aspirant would receive 4 topics over an email.
• Each topic holds 20 marks for itself.
• Aspirants will be given two days to submit their Caselets back on the email Id: caselets@iismworld.in.
• Caselets comprise a total of 80 marks and would be evaluated by an expert invigilator.

The institution offers admission to PGP in Sports Managements, to be eligible for the same candidates must possess a graduation degree in any stream.

Admission to the course will be based on either SMAT conducted by IISM or through MAH-CET. Students must have secured 50% marks for getting shortlisted for the second round of admission. 

IISM Mumbai MSM/ PGP in Sports Management Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation degree holders can apply for admission to the course.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination.
• 5% relaxation in marks secured will be given to the students belonging to the SC/ST Category.
• Appearing candidates can apply for admission.

IISM Mumbai BSM/MSM/PGP in Sports Management Selection:

Admission to the BSM/MSM/PGP in Sports and Wellness Management will be based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination followed by the Personal Interview. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in Stage 1 to qualify for Round 2. IISM conducts SMAT for admission to the courses. MAH-CET qualified students will be exempted from the entrance examination.

Stage I

• Admission Process for Bachelor’s degree: Eligible candidates would be assessed on the basis of Essay, Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) score, and Overall Performance. Candidates can register for SMAT online through the IISM website. 
• Admission Process for Master’s degree and PGPs: Eligible candidates would be assessed on the basis of Caselets, Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) score, and Overall Performance.

Stage II

This Stage will be an online Video-Call based Personal Interview for 120 marks. The total weightage of Stage I and Stage II will be 300. Aspirants need to score 60% cumulative of Stage I and Stage II in order to secure Admission at IISM.

SMAT Pattern and Weightages:

Sports Management Admission Test Entrance exam will be for 80 Marks and will comprise the following:

2. Data Interpretation
3. Logical Reasoning
4. Verbal Reasoning
5. Verbal Ability
6. Sports Awareness

Caselets/Essays & Overall Performance will cover Academic score, Sports Achievements & Extra-curricular Activities for 20 marks. Personal Interview will be of 120 marks.
