I wanted to pursue my studies in fashion only. I wasa looking the college in the city kolkata itslef. NIFT was the best option available. The college has very good name in the city. It was worth doing the course from this college.
I'm interested in fashion and that is y I choose nift, and in wanted to explore more and. I am a pcm student but I did not want to go to any engineering colleges and I always wanted to do something different from all my cousins and that is why I am in nift. also nift gives us soo many oportunities.
Because i was interested in creativity and exploring deisgns so Nift gave me the platform where I can put my ideas to another level. This is the place where i got the opportunity to fulfil my dreams and to accomplish them and moreover where i got to know more about myself . A place where it taught me the reality to life the upcomings all the negative as well as positive aspects of life. Since it was my first place where i started leaving away from my family , friends and relatives. So it was really a great experience for me.
I've always had an creative approach for things, and I like photography and nift provides perfect environment for exploration and practical based learning, Kolkata got excellent faculty for tech, further there are vast number of masters I can opt for
The best institute for Fashion Design, with a number of alumni working well in the fashion and design industry. Design colleges can be expensive but NIFT is almost half of their fees and thrice of their ability.
Its really good. It's not a big campus like IIT, IIM but its unique. Structure of the campus is very unique. We have all the facilities for the design students. I love the campus. No negative remarks for Nift Kolkata.
The positive are:-
1. The faculties are very good and friendly
2. The proper labs and machines are there.
3. A very good placement opportunity provided.
The negatives are:- 1. The fees structure are very expensive it need to be less and affordable.
NIFT have their own entrance examination, basically first test consist of two parts, i.e., CAT(creative ability test) and GAT (general ability test).
i do not exactly remember how much i scored. I opted for kolkata centre since, it was close to my home and moreover the faculty here are really good.
