This college gave a great opportunity for the scholarship name du scholarship.
Yes the faculty members of cbse are very good and the placement the placement opportunity in
Talking about the placement in our college we have a placement cell called aspire who conducts placement opportunities as well as internships opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college are very bad and not well maintained. the main campus building are not in good condition .
The infrastructure isnt very great. the campus is comparatively small and the the building is also very old with broken tables, benches and fans.
About the cvs infrastructure it was not good or perfect and the new infrastructure also not powerful

Likes

Fee is very low compared to any private college.
Societies and club of college are active.
Crowd is good and diversity such many state comes to study in this college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not upto marks.but otherthen old building and other are decent.
Company comes for placement most of sales and marketing.
College does not have nice auditorium compared to other college

In fifth semester students become eligible for compus placements and 100+ companies and 100-200 offer made by them in college all course.the average package 350000 around in all course in colleges.10% percentage of student get placed.

Things i liked is the college environment
I liked the other students in the campus
I liked the college campus and the college ground

Dislikes

I don’t like the time table management here
I don’t like the college as it don’t have auditorium
College don’t have proper water facility

Students become eligible for the internship program from the 1st semester as this college provides so many opportunities. And the placements here in college are good and societies are specially dedicated for the placement and internship

The campus is very classic and the sanitary practices are very accordingly teachers are very kind to every stident snd the id not say that everything is well maintained obviously there are many things whuch i dont llike
The canteen is the chill area for the students and there are many socities which provides many opportunities and skills for the young talented students
I like this college because this made my lofe become much more open to learning

Dislikes

I disliked done students especially in my college because they only admitted to college for elections only as they want to enter the politics
I disliked the staff as it is not properly managed the gate keeper allows everyone to enter the college which is not admissible in my opinion
I disliked some classes infrastructure sone of the classes made in my old building of the cllleg are made ip of tin

Life at CVS

Likes

The ground is nice the crowd is nice the canteen is nice and its food os very affordable and so is the fees of the college per semester and the landmarks near the college is really nice too. Overall its nice
There are many societies and festivals which make the college and campus experience really grest
Teachers are nice sometimes they can be a bit lazy though

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not the best and there is a need for ACs
Sometimes people can be a bit judgmental
Teachers can be a bit lazy and unprofessional sometimes

Placement Experience:

From semester 3 students become eligible for campus placements Name of the Companies visited are jio, reliance etc and a lot of offers are made Highest package is fifteen lakh per annum and average is 7 lakh per annum

CVS: above avg college

Likes

College has a huge ground which include basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground and football ground
Teachers are very friendly , polite, and kind in nature
Social life is good. Students are not rude and seniors are too friendly

Dislikes

Infrastracture is small buildings are too old and need few improvement
There was drinking water problem in the beginning which was resovled
Placement is not up to the mark. I dont think that anyone from this college will get a huge package

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had non medical in my 12th grade and then i switched to BA economics hons . So it was bit difficult for me to adjust Economics subject are easy but stats and maths are quiet dificult. One with good understanding of.maths should opt this course as this course has a good scope in pvt sector

My experience as a first year student in CVS, DU

Likes

The only college providing vocational courses
College has a girls common room and boys common room
The locality is also good, flats and pgs are easily available and also food is easily accessible

Dislikes

New building has not yet been opened despite the construction has been completely
Exam timings for the students pursuing vocational course are 2:30 to 5:30 which makes it too hot in summers
There are a lot biasness over cast aspect

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm pursuing Human resource management and as I have mentioned before CVS is the only college providing vocational courses. The reason I chose this course is it is skill based and also i wanted to have a career in HR field. The comprehensiveness and understanding of this subject is quite good, it covers topic that one studies in his or her MBA. Their are areas that need to be improved like practical applicability of the subjects that we are taught, the college should take initiatives to let students use the learnings in a real world scenario by providing them internships or by taking them to corporate visits. The exams are conducted semester wise and their difficultly level is moderate. The exam timings for vocational courses is 2:30-5:30 p.m

Excellent South Campus College for college life memories

Likes

The library of the college is well-stocked with a diverse collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
The college cafeteria offers a wide variety of affordable food options.
Workshops and webinars on resume building, interview techniques, panel discussions and financial literacy are conducted regularly.

Dislikes

The College does not provide Hostel facilities to the students who are from outside Delhi. As a result, these students have to stay in the nearby accommodation or live in nearby accommodation as a paying guests (PGs).
The Class rooms of the college are not air conditioned.
Computer Labs require upgradation of hardware and software to keep up with the latest technological advancements.

Placement Experience:

The Highest package offered by the college is Rs. 24 LPA and the average package offered ranges between Rs. 6-9 LPA as per latest placement report. Notable recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, Ernest and Young, TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Wipro and Make my Trip, among others. A diverse range of companies from various sectors such as IT, Finance, Marketing, Tourism, and Consulting visit the campus for recruitment. The overall placement rate at the college has been impressive.

Faculty of our college is good. Well educated and qualified teaching staff
College provides a diversity of students from different states across India
There are lot of active societies who are working in various fields .

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not so good. It can be better
Hostel facility is not available for students.
College administration is lazy. It can be more effective and convenient for students.

Curriculum of our course is very vast. It provides an insightful knowledge of history to students. It's comprehensive nature give students knowledge not only about Indian history but also provide insightful knowledge of world history.

Faculties and staff are good and helpful. Many courses to choose.Campus life according to the students environment is nice
Garden area is very beautiful and well maintained
Good space of ground is provided for sports. Girls common room and boy’s common room both are available

Dislikes

Small campus size. It feels like a small park
Infrastructure could be better. No air conditioned rooms. Small size of classrooms
Mostly teachers adopt traditional methods of teaching

College of vocational studies - MY JOURNEY

The crowd of CVS is extraordinary. There is no ragging the seniors are really helpful and the cultural societies are very active which makes your college experience very wonderful
The faculties of commerce department are really nice and some of them are really helpful. Teachers are dedicated to their schedule and will help you throughout your internals.
There are vocational courses which makes our college unique and you get a set of different people who takes admission in these courses. Also the placement cell is very active anyone can apply to the opportunities.

Dislikes

There is no science department in our college which makes it a less diversified college. There are no science labs and activities. Also the strength of our college is very less as compared to other colleges.
We have a huge ground but it's for nothing we can't organize any fests or any DJ in that ground due to the presence of a hospital nearby which is PSRI hospital.
The infrastructure of CVS is quite average. There can be a lot of improvements. The new building is fine though but the classes of old building can be really suffocating in summers.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for applying for placement after you come in third year of your course. You can apply for internships even before that. The highest package from my department was about 1200000 offered to a student because of his skills. Talking about the average package it is around 4-5 lakhs. There are more than 50% students who get placements from our college. I've not applied for a placement because I wanted too continue my higher studies. But for experience I've given some interviews which were quite good.
