- Mostly teachers are professor there and doctors they are really supportive i still remember dr taneja sir how friendly he's with students and the way he taught us was amazing teaching things with practical examples is amazing
- The crowd of dav college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- You can also join for ncc and nss. and it can be beneficial during post graduate admissions.
Dislikes
- No placement no internship no guidance was provided by teachers
- In brutal summer there is need for air conditioners.
- Classrooms are too suffocating and it becomes worse in summers

I believe as a psychology student i have experienced that the teachers make the students apply their study on various practicals that need subjects of their own and also conduct many activities that involve in interacting with the real world.

- Student council have a great say in the administration that makes the students part of functioning
- A proper time table that is well designed and not hectic at all

- The infrastructure of the college can be improved
- The no of classrooms allotted to each department must be increased
- Non working days like saturdays must be viven as holidays

My own course is masters of arts (economics) it offers a great prospect in real world opening the opportunities in administration banking civi services and making a student feel valued in real word applications especially on the monetary and budget front as with the able guidence of the faculty one becomes aware of all the aspects of the indian and global economy

- I don't like the heat and also the humidity
- I hate the fact that there's a lot of dust
- I don't like the noise and the network is also not good
Course Curriculum Overview:
Everything is good and I love most of the things around here. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective is good so far. There are not much areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

- I like the college teachers and our new Principal, he is quite soft and generous.
- I really like about our college environment
- Our college teachers don't give tension to the students

- Our college canteen foods price are high
- Our college infrastructure is not quite good
- I found some teacher somewhat rude to students
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the teacher try really hard to make sure the students get the point. So they are very good. And many of them try harader and harder so that they students become toppers. I think only their teching style is like revission.

- Ambience of the college is really good with greenry
- Juice corner is best with good price and quality
- Lab facilities is the best with high end equipments
Dislikes
- Canteen is over priced with poor cleanliness
- Hostel mess is really bad with low quality food
- Cleanliness is really bad in hostels particularly in washroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student.
Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too.
Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated.
Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.

- There are several facilities provided to students.
- There are separate ground for sports like cricket, volleyball,handball and basketball.
- There are also two auditorium for function in college.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many companies which visited last year in our college. They took many students from our college. There are 60-70 percent students are getting placement in good companies.

- I like many things like campus ,ground , classroom and teachers they help us
- The teachers were also helpful and support to those students who are not good in there subject .
- They even call or complain about students to thier parents sometime ,if students not attend class or projects
Dislikes
- I dislike canteen charges . The food were costly
- Like a cup of Maggie cost 80 ruppes .which is not good
- And in sports there are only some games which were focus by people like criket basketball and volleyball.

From 5 th semester students were eligible for campus placements . Number of companies come coolege to pick good employes like Amazon , Google IBM, Microsoft,Wipro etc. The highest packages is 90 lakhs last year . My plan after degree is to clear UPSE exam

- College environment is very good and for cleaning is very best
- In the case of sports our college is no.1 for the reason basketball, cricket,
- And in ncc army , ncc navy, ncc air , and NSS this type of work

- some classes are not repaired and I complaint also but they never change

- Best teachers i got . They all know how to teach and are good at teaching . Teachers are friendly mostly
- Nice students and we can get along with them easily .campus is small but overall college is good

- Due to elections many fights take place howver there are police for protection
- Canteen rates should be a bit lower as they are high according to me . Campus is small and only some classes have ac
- In free period u have to roam around the college cause tgere is little place to sir and relax and u cant sit in empty classroom . Toilets are not so cleaned . Water supply problem is there .
Course Curriculum Overview:
Bachelor of arts is a good course which can be done easily and it is good to do this course if u want to go in civil services
I chose it do perform well in upsc cause it covers the syllabus of upsc
There are some faculty who are rude and i dont like them and also dont understand their way of teaching
Exams timing are good and anyone can enjoy and study during this course you will not be in huge pressure !
And i liked it thats why this course is must fir upsc and other civil services aspirants
It will cover their syllabus and u will get to know more about subjects more effectively

- The best thing in the college is the staff and their cooperation to other activities.
- Teachers and way very helpful in every aspect.

Cricket is played. Most of the Olympic medalists are from our college. The best fashion group in chandigarh is from our college. The dance groups. And the best part of this college is their elections. Worth watching the elections.

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
