- Mostly teachers are professor there and doctors they are really supportive i still remember dr taneja sir how friendly he's with students and the way he taught us was amazing teaching things with practical examples is amazing
- The crowd of dav college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- You can also join for ncc and nss. and it can be beneficial during post graduate admissions.
Dislikes
- No placement no internship no guidance was provided by teachers
- In brutal summer there is need for air conditioners.
- Classrooms are too suffocating and it becomes worse in summers

Placement Experience:
5th and 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Various companies like infotech,haeir visit campus and interview students . Students are selected skill based and those who have passed all the exams with good percentage.

- There was no attendance issue teachers were helping
- It location was sector 10 nearby there was coaching hub in sector 15
- There was friendly environment in the college

- Some teachers did not teach good they just came and sit
- Campus was small and extra activities were not there
- No placement no internship no guidance was provided by teachers
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was interested in learning mathematics and getting a good placement but they don't have any option on placement and research
There was semester system final finals after 6 months in between mid semester was taken finals need a good amount of hardwork

- 75% attendance is not mandatory, there's only fine for attendance which is very minimal. You can easily study for you extra courses ans take coachings because there's no pressure for attendance.
- There's student council and annual college fests. Odd semester has elections in the beginning. College atmosphere is very happening during those days. And college fest is very fun and a grand event.
- College staff is good. Teachers are nice and college provides full facilities for education.
Dislikes
- Semester is hardly for 2 months. Nobody takes classes seriously
- Small infrastructure. Some departments have ac others dont
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is designed by Punjab university. Syllabus is completely relevant with the course. It includes both theory and practical syllabus. Syllabus is up to the mark but the student should decide before hand because it's chemistry, zoology and botany, it's not easy at all. Exams occur at the end of every semester. Chemistry has 3 parts and 3 exams for 22 marks each. Zoology and botany both have 2 divisions and exam is set for 36 marks of each subject. All exams are scheduled for 3 hours.

The course curriculum is updated regularly as per the requirement. The course curriculum also prepare just for various Real world applications. Modern teaching methods for teaching. The difficulty level of exam is decent.

- The classrooms are clean, regularly cleaned. Good Environment, it also has parks where students can rest during their breaks
- Non Teaching Staffs are very kind, nice and very cooperative to students and to everyone.
- Admission system is not complicated and help is also given by senior students during admissions
Dislikes
- The college would’’ve been better if there was a football ground.
- There’s not much bad things about the college. It’s easily one of the best college in Chandigarh.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I opted for BA Psychology along with other subjects such as Sociology and Elective English and also the two other compulsary subject HCP and English Compulsary.
From my experience, curriculums such as practicals for Psychology are given properly and It is fun doing experiments and it is indeed a fun way of learning. It helps us to understand a given topic clearly.
And for theory, all the teachers i came accross are well qualified and they also tried their best to help students and make them understand properly.

- the fines and the examination fee is little too expensive according to the other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course is good there is one mid semester exam per semester and one final semester exam the difficulty level is medium and retest are there for those who fail . the curriculum is also theoretical only people might have some specialisation for practical subjects

- Some teachers are extraordinarily good at teaching.
- Rose garden from DAV is about 2 minutes far.
- Is situated in Middle of Chandigarh, reachable from anywhere.
Dislikes
- Can improve in Infrastructure and can also provide latest computers for practicals.
- Some teachers are really bad at teaching and don't even know what to teach.
- Don't have regular sports activities neither good parking for students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
BCA in itself is not a very good course that will gurantee your placement in a good company with high package, Its relevance is high only beacuse its easy to complete and get the degree.
For good packages you have to do MCA or work harder on your skill to get a good job.
BCA helps in building base of your coding career, it offers a good grasp of C/CPP, Java and DataStructure.

I choose this course has it has a great opportunity to work on science and research in future as it has a great aspect of earning money
The curriculum prepared you for real world applications but very less practical knowledge is given and more of the theoretical knowledge is given because of the Indian education system which employees us to copy and paste on our examination sheet

- I like most is the campus life. Because you can study anywhere but in college you have to study with enjoyment. You can learn many things in campus
- The infrastructure is very well maintained. There are small small parks inside the campus and parks are filled with flowers and plants.
- Teaching methods are so advanced. Teacher using smart classes with digital equipment.
Dislikes
- In summer due to shortage of water. The coolers are empty.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to be the part of the civil services. So I can choose to be graduate in bachelor of science. The difficulty level or our exam is moderate. If you learn deep then you can clear all the exams easily.

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
