Amrita School of Pharmacy Kochi Faculty

There are about four hundred to five hundred students about twenty facilities available including PhD scholars. I like most of the facilities here. There are two sessional exams and one semester exam at the end of the six months semester. There are about five to ten students who fail on average.

From our batch onwards we have new syllabus apart from our previous batches.We find the course easier and difficult on the other hand . Faculties and student interaction are good .I found biochemistry is easier and I like the subject and teacher had put a lot of efforts so by which I like the subject more.And this year I like microbiology,it's quite interesting.And Each 15 students in the college have one academic advisor.

There are about 400 to 500 students and about 25 faculty available including PhD scholars . The faculty I liked the most will Krishnadas sir due to his personality and his way of teaching. There is no particular teacher I don't like. There are two sessionals and one semester exam in 6 months there is about 5 to 7 students who fail.

As we are a deemed to be university.... from our batch onwards the course structure is changed. Students find it easier as well as tough due to frequent exams and as mentioned the attendance policy. The student teacher interaction is good as well as the we as students can approch any phd scholars who are ready to help up any time . I personally liked studing pharmaceutical analysis in our first year and right now i would say i kinda like microbiology classes which are quite intresting . When compared students who fail to clear exams are more on the lesser side as they provide a huge space to score marks in our sessionals which are conducted twice in a semester.

There are mainly five departments in Masters Program and an additional program Pharm.d PB. The ratio of student to faculty is 15:1 where each batch will have a class coordinator, head of department and other teaching faculty. The faculty to student relation is very good. The student is supported overall in aspects of academic, moral and even spiritual session are arranged as the insitute is under Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham founded by Mata Amritanandamayi. I joined the department of Pharmacy Practice inthe year 2023. We were 5 students in the batch. I am very happy with the faculty. Our head of departement is a very experienced and charismatic personal. The pricipal of our institution is also a very supportive , encouraging and cheerful person. We have theory subjects and examinations in the first year. We had two internal exams and one main university examination. The curriculum is not very difficult but requires hard work and revision as it covers a lot of practical basics. The exams are neither too easy nor too hard. Most of the exams are application level so it requires a good amount of dedication in the learning process.

faculty here are well reputated in terms of their qualification. most of them has done their phd and others are pursuing . some them are also NIPER graduates. also in our college we have worlds top 2% scientist as well. course is divided into 8 semester total of 4 years you have 2 sessional examination and 2 sessional practical and one university and 1 and 1 practical each sem. internal exams comprises of 25 % marks whereas rest 75% is dependant on your univerisity results

There are basically enough facilities in our college for each course. Teachers are really supportive academically and otherwise too. Most of the hod's are nice and very helpful. There are 2 internal papers for each subject in a semester and one final university exam for each subject including non cgpa subjects

All of our faculties have PhD and they are very approachable. We can meet them any time regarding our doubts and they really clear our doubt really fast and in an easy way. Our teachers are our support system.

The faculty in this college is well qualified but some are found not upto the level and that may be due to their lack of experience. Well the overall view upon yhe facalyies and staff are found to be good and well maintained in the college but they can be improved more further and some more experienced staffs can be included.

All the faculty are research fellows. All the department heads are doctorate holders. Some of them have post doctorals too. There are 30+ lectures in our college and 10+ of them have PhDs. Faculties are also employed fron industries to provide an insight on working in industrial fields.
