IISER Mohali Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Faculty: Teacher are highly efficient, all of them are from a great background. But teaching quality is something which varies from person to person. The course curriculum is very good but the semester time period is less so kind of little difficult and more semester stress. Placements: People find it on their own, and they go for Higher Studies like PhD and Post Doc etc. Infrastructure: Co-ed Hostel with full Wi-Fi support and for the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. Mess system available, 3 mess you can eat in any of them on pay and eat basis. Health center is there, all the sports facilites and gym is also there.

I was wanting become the mbbs doctor.I did very much hard work to get admission govt medical college. But I was unlucky and didn't get the admission in govt medical college I lost the hope.but some one told me about iiser this was opportunity for me to become a great scientist. This decision change my life I thought of becoming a scientific instead of dropping a year for neet mbbs

World class research facility with best faculty support. As I am interested in pure science and research,so I choose this college which is the top college exclusively established for the students who want to pursue higher education in the field of pure sciences. All the faculty in the institute have postdocs from best universities all across the world. We are exposed to the top notch research facility frim the undergraduate level.

Good teaching faculties and has a reputed environment. The most unique trait of this institute is its focus on undergraduate research. I am very interested in biology and chemistry; To find a solution we were given time in our laboratory and could ask for practically anything we needed. A further very good quality of our institute is its rather high rank and great reputation. I seek a good education and definitely appreciate it.

Personal interest in research and some guidance from my teachers' motivated to me to get admission in IISER. My aim was to get admission in IISc but I was not able to qualify for the exam so I choose IISER Mohali over other IISERs due to it's nice location near beutiful city Chandigarh.

Interest in research and family and friends advice lead to me to join this college. It's international exposure and world class labs and professors is also one important factor which played an important role for me in choosing this college.

My parents played an important role in choosing this college because my father is a teacher and he gives preference to research and also I was also interested in theoretical physics from my metric education and the tag of IISER on you is most important for me.

Due to interest in research from childhood. My dream is to make a discovery which can provide a Nobel Prize to India in area of Chemistry. I want to fulfill the dream of my parents. One of the reason of joining this college is it's National Importance and it's world class facilities and professors.

Due to national importance college and a research institute. My dream was to go to foreign and after doing degree from IISER you have a good chance to get admission in foreign universities. International exposure is very much.

Passion towards research.Provide good environment for ug research.It also provides interdisciplinary nature so that we can get to know various other streams.The campus is really good.Faculty are also very helpful,god labs and other infrastructure.
