Assam MBBS Admission Process 2025

MBBS Admission in Assam is based on the NEET 2025 scores of a candidate. Assam MBBS Admission will also include a counselling session, conducted by the DME Assam. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. They must provide their educational qualifications, NEET scores and other data. After successfully paying the application fee, the form will be submitted. A merit list will be released by the conducting authority based on which candidates have to report to the allocated colleges. Upon completing the admission formalities, they can start the MBBS course. All candidates have to pay an INR 500 application fee irrespective of the category. 

Assam MBBS Admission 2025: Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with minimum aggregate marks of 50%. Relaxation in marks is provided to reserved and PwD category candidates.
• Candidates must be from the Science stream and must have done Biology as a compulsory subject to apply for Assam MBBS Admission. 
• Candidates must have a valid NEET scorecard and admit card.
• The minimum age of a candidate must be 17 years at the time of application.
• For the residents of Assam, they must fulfil the following criteria – 
• Candidate’s parents must be domicile of Assam while candidates must have studied in Assam located higher education institute for at least 5 years. 
• They must be recognised residents of the Assam state.
