What is the Option Entry Process?
During the counselling process, candidates before accepting their seats have the option to ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ their choices.
Float Option: Candidates can choose the float option if they are not satisfied with the allotted colleges. They will be eligible to appear for the subsequent counselling rounds. However, if they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.
Freeze Option: Candidates who do not want to participate in further counselling rounds can exercise the “Freeze” option to confirm their allotment. Once the allotted college is accepted, candidates will have to pay the admission fee. They will not be considered for further counselling rounds.
