Candidates who want to avail of Kalna College Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship must be eligible as per the following criteria

• Must have obtained at least 60% in the previous qualifying examination.
• Annual household income cannot exceed INR 2,50,000.
• Fresh postgraduate (PG) candidates must have earned at least 53% in their undergraduate (UG) study.

Documents required for the candidate for new membership as well as renewal of old membership are mentioned below:

Documents for new registration:

• Madhyamik Examination Admit Card or a similar one
• Madhyamik Examination mark sheet (both sides)
• Admit card for the most recent Board, Council, University, or College exam
• Mark sheet for the most recent Board, Council, University, or College test (both sides)
• The family's income certificate
• Affidavit of Income Certificate
• Domicile certificate issued by the relevant authority, such as an Aadhaar ID, voter ID, ration card, or certificate
• A scanned copy of the first page of the bank passbook, which contains the A/C number

Documents Required for Renewal of Scholarship

• A copy of both sides of the most recent exam mark sheet for the current course of study, or year-by-year mark sheets if the examination system is semester-based
• The first page of the bank passbook and the passbook leaf that displays the credited scholarship amount from the previous year are the admission receipts for the promotion to the next higher level.

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Kalna College Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship

• Step 1: First, candidates must complete and submit the registration form online at svmcm.wb.gov.in. Following a successful registration form submission, a 15-character applicant ID will be generated. This ID will be needed to log in and finish the remaining application form steps.
• Step 2: Use the generated Applicant ID, the password that was created during the registration process, and the security code (captcha) to log in. Once you have successfully logged in, complete the remaining application forms.
• Step 3: The Scanned Supporting Document Upload form will show up once the application forms have been successfully submitted. As stated in the form, upload all required papers.
• Step 4: Once the upload has been successful, check the application in view mode and click Submit Application to finish the process.

Usually, there won't be a way to change the application details once the form has been submitted through the site. However, the applicant may contact the relevant HOI for a modification if one is required after submission.
