New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the BITS School of Management (BITSoM), Mumbai has joined hands with the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business (USC Marshall) to offer dual degree programs and carry out academic and research initiatives.
As a part of this collaboration, both institutes will discuss offering a dual degree program leading to an MBA from BITS School of Management and a specialisation in STEM MS degree from USC Marshall to interested and eligible students.
Additionally, BITSoM and USC Marshall School of Business will cooperate for academic and research initiatives including the exchange of scholars for research and discussion on a graduate student exchange program for independent or collaborative research.

Informing about this MoU, Dr Saravanan Kesavan, Dean and Professor of Operations, BITSoM said “We intend to bring the world's best management education to our students at BITSoM, and exposure to global contexts and diverse cultures is a key ingredient of this vision.
“Our partnership with USC's Marshall School of Business is a step in that direction, to build a deep and productive relationship over time. I look forward to our students learning from the scholars and faculty at USC Marshall”, Dr Saravanan Kesavan added.
Dr Geoffrey Garrett, Dean of USC Marshall School of Business and Member of the BITSoM Governing Council, said “The relationship between USC Marshall and BITSoM is an important one in our endeavour to create new knowledge and academic collaboration in the field of Management research. USC Marshall is a leader in global business education and our partnership with BITSoM will further our shared vision of preparing future leaders for an increasingly complex global economy”.
