New Delhi: IIM Bodh Gaya has partnered with Medanta, a prominent hospital chain, to enhance the relevance of its MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) program in the industry. In 2023, IIM Bodh Gaya initiated the specialised two-year full-time MBA program, with 85 students in its inaugural batch selected through the CAT exam.
Through this collaboration, experts from Medanta will deliver lectures to the students, enriching the program content with real-life cases as part of the course delivery. The partnership aims to make the MBA program more industry-oriented and practical.
Key Highlights of IIM Bodh Gaya and Medanta Collaboration
As part of the collaboration, Medanta will offer summer internships to students of IIM Bodh Gaya who are enrolled in the MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) program, allowing them to experience its hospitals and healthcare facilities across India and internationally.
Furthermore, the two institutions will actively cooperate in organising joint events, including Healthcare Management conclaves, round table discussions, seminars, workshops, and conferences. These initiatives aim to facilitate knowledge-sharing, innovation, and discussions on relevant hospital and healthcare management issues.

Professor Vinita Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and Dr Ravi Shankar Singh, Medical Director of Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital in Patna, emphasised that this collaboration is strategically designed to be futuristic and contribute significantly to the field.
