NEET PG 2023 Seat Matrix Released; Counselling to Begin Soon

New Delhi: NMC has released the seat matrix for NEET PG Counselling 2023. The counselling process will begin shortly. 

According to the official notice, the permitted seat matrix will be the same as before for medical colleges. NEET PG Exam was conducted on March 5, 2023. The NEET PG Result was released on March 14, 2023. 

NMC has said in a recent notice that Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) has received 2,828 applications from Medical colleges/institutes for recognition/renewal of recognition of PG medical qualifications in 2022 and so far, the board has taken its decision on 1,870 applications.

Dr Vijay Oja, President of PGMEB at NMC, said that the decision on the remaining applications is under process.

He has also added that the NEET PG 2023 Counselling Process will begin soon with the already present number of permitted seat. The seat matrix will be prepared accordingly. 

“Colleges may reduce the number of seats in special circumstances,” he added.

Recently, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) uploaded the NEET PG 2023 scorecard for All India 50% quota seats on the official website, natboard.edu.in. Based on the results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting the counselling process for admission to PG medical courses.
