The introduction of this Special Stray Round represents a final "last-chance" opportunity for medical aspirants who have not yet secured a seat. The university has set a high-stakes environment by requiring a ₹2 lakh security deposit, a move designed to ensure that only serious candidates apply and to prevent seats from going to waste at this late stage of the academic calendar.
Since up-gradation is not permitted, candidates should be extremely strategic during the choice-filling phase, selecting only those colleges where they are genuinely willing to study. Furthermore, the strict "join or forfeit" rule means that an accidental allotment in an unwanted college could lead to significant financial loss.
