Teach For India invites Applications for Fellowship Program 2024

New Delhi: Teach For India is accepting applications for its Fellowship Program 2024. Prospective candidates can submit their applications for the fellowship through the official website at apply.teachforindia.org. The last date to apply is March 17, 2024 (11:59 PM).

To apply for the fellowship program, candidates have to submit their achievements, interests, experiences, and reasons for joining the Teach For India Fellowship 2024. A 30-minute discussion is also necessary based on the submitted application.

Who Can Apply for Teach For India Fellowship 2024

Eligibility Criteria: The fellowship program is open for first-time candidates. Applicants must have completed graduation by June/July 2024 and be citizens of India or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).

Key Highlights of Teach For India Fellowship 2024

The fellowship is a two-year, full-time compensated commitment. Fellows will be assigned to English-medium classrooms in government or low-income private schools that lack resources. They will serve as a teacher for a subject/class for 40-80 students.

The program commences with a residential training program, commonly called the Institute. During this phase, participants will gain exposure to curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom facilitation, student assessments, and various other modules and sessions crucial for effective teaching.

Upon becoming a Teach For India member, individuals will be stationed in schools in underserved communities in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, or Pune. All fellows must reside in one of these cities throughout this experience.
