Hey there, thanks for asking! This info could be super helpful for those prepping for NEET and looking to join a top AIIMS college.

AIIMS Nagpur boasts the best campus among all AIIMS locations. Now, let me tell you about life in the hostel.

Rooms: In the first year, you'll share a double room with all the amenities. By the middle of the second year, you get your own room, fully equipped. AIIMS Nagpur's hostels really stand out compared to others.

Hostel timing: Since May 1, 2023, the hostel's curfew has changed, putting AIIMS Nagpur ahead of most AIIMS, except Delhi. First-year students had a 10 PM curfew, and for others, it was 11 PM, with the library closing at 10 PM. After the new director came in, students requested extended hours, and it happened! Now, from May 1, 2023, the hostel curfew is 2 AM, and the library stays open until midnight.

College dress: AIIMS Nagpur had a set dress code. First-year students wore all white for about six months, then switched to peach shirts and brown pants. But now, the dress code is gone. You can wear any formal attire, but a white apron with the college logo is still required.

Campus: The campus is beautiful and green, with nearly every sports facility you could want. There are cricket and football grounds, basketball and volleyball courts, badminton, table tennis, pool tables, and even a new athletic track in the works.

Vacation: This is a big plus at AIIMS Nagpur! They offer vacations to all students. There's a one-month summer break and a 16-17 day winter break. Unlike many colleges, AIIMS Nagpur gives you plenty of time off.

AIIMS Nagpur also has great features like:

  • Music Club: The faculty and students started a new music club with all the latest equipment.
  • Ragging-free campus: It's known for being free of ragging.
  • Temple: There's a temple on campus, adding to its charm.
  • Vehicles: Starting this year, students can bring their own vehicles, as long as they follow traffic rules.
  • Studies: The academics are top-notch, and there are many research opportunities.

In just five years, AIIMS Nagpur has become a fantastic medical college. It's likely to become one of the top colleges soon, as cutoffs keep increasing. This year, the general category cutoff was around 1.3k, compared to 1.8/1.9k last year. So, expect even higher cutoffs soon, making it comparable to older AIIMS.

Welcome to AIIMS Nagpur! Good luck to all NEET aspirants. Bye for now. Best of luck!
