Honestly, I think SGGS Nanded has a lot going for it compared to Pune. The Mechanical Engineering curriculum is pretty solid, and I’ve found the faculty to be quite supportive. The placement records are impressive too, with companies like TCS and Accenture visiting regularly. Plus, the fees are reasonable for what we get, which is a definite advantage. Overall, if you are looking for a good balance of academic and placement opportunities, I would recommend SGGS Nanded.

Shri Guru Govind Singh College in Nanded is an autonomous institution, unlike the Sinhagad College of Engineering in Pune. However, in my view, the main goal of attending college should be to grow as a person rather than just to gain knowledge. Colleges in Pune are great for that. With the internet, academic learning is accessible from anywhere. But practical experiences, skill-building, and opportunities to meet diverse people from all over the world, as well as taking part in different exams like UPSC and CAT, or engaging in activities like drama, music, photography, and film, are more abundant in Pune. Pune is home to places like the National Film Archives and the Film and Television Institute of India, which offer amazing opportunities.

Moreover, the people you surround yourself with matter a lot. Typically, you reflect the average intelligence of your closest five friends. In Pune, you'll find yourself among smart and skilled people, which means you'll always have someone to learn from, and you won't be the smartest person in the room, which is beneficial for personal growth.

For context, I'm originally from Nanded and could have easily enrolled at SGGS, but I chose a tier 3 college in Pune for the reasons mentioned above. Pune has been very rewarding for me. Wishing you the best of luck!

When comparing SGGS Nanded with Pune, here's what I think. SGGS Nanded is a government autonomous institute where you can earn a BTech degree. However, to benefit from campus placements there, you need to maintain a GPA above 7.5. If not, you'll have to work harder on your technical skills. The teaching and facilities at SGGS are really great and supportive.

On the other hand, most colleges in Pune offer a BE degree, and they generally have a high rate of campus placements. Plus, during your time there, you'll come across many companies and resources that can be really beneficial for your future career. I hope this helps you out ???? thanks!

I'm studying at SGGSIE&T, and here's my take. Before choosing, it's important to figure out what you're looking for. If you dream of a college with lots of glam, exciting nightlife, and frequent trips, then SGGS might not meet those expectations.

But if you're interested in building your own dream world and shaping your future, SGGS could be the right place for you. This college is full of great people and provides a lot of learning. Trust me, the facilities here are top-notch. Good luck with your decision!

I personally feel that SGGS Nanded is a great choice for students interested in branches like Instrumentation Engineering. The faculty is supportive, and there are good placement opportunities, especially for students who are proactive. The fees are manageable, and there are scholarships available too.

While Pune might be more well-known and have a wider range of companies visiting for placements, SGGS Nanded has a great community and decent placement records for its branches, making it a good option.
