What is the average Package in DTU in BA??

So, I’m currently studying BA at DTU, and I’ve noticed that the average package is about 5 LPA. The placement scene is a mix, with some big companies like Bajaj and Byjus coming in. But honestly, only about 20-25% of my batch gets placed. The highest package I heard of was 13 LPA, which is impressive, but it feels like a long shot for most of us. I’m more interested in internships since I want to go for an MBA after this.

The average salary is around 7–8 lakhs.

However, using average salary as a measure for placements isn't ideal. A few high overseas packages in crores can skew the average, while some students who don't put in the effort or face other challenges may bring it down. Additionally, there are students who choose not to participate in placements because they prefer to pursue higher studies.

So, it's better to look at the median salary offered (even though it's not perfect, it's still an improvement). For CSE, the median is around 9–10 lakhs.
