MNNIT Allahabad offers a solid B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a decent curriculum focused on core subjects and opportunities in traditional industries like oil and pharma, but it lacks hands-on experience and has less competitive tech internships. In contrast, MNIT Jaipur’s B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering likely provides better exposure to tech companies and internships, especially since the tech field is more competitive and in-demand. While both colleges have their strengths, I'd personally lean towards MNIT Jaipur for a more vibrant campus life and better internship prospects in the tech space, especially if you are keen on coding and electronics. If you’re more interested in traditional industries and chemical processes, then MNNIT Allahabad could be a good fit for you.

In terms of placements and career prospects, MNIT Jaipur for B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering generally offers a wider range of opportunities compared to MNNIT Allahabad's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. While MNNIT has decent core placements, especially in chemical industries, the competition is fierce, and the number of companies visiting for tech internships is limited. In contrast, MNIT Jaipur attracts more diverse tech companies and has a better internship placement rate, giving students a more significant advantage in the tech-driven job market.

If you're inclined towards a versatile career with broader job prospects, go for MNIT Jaipur; however, if you're passionate about chemical engineering and willing to navigate through the competitive landscape, MNNIT Allahabad could still be a good choice.

Peer group: Same. Infrastructure and campus: MNIT Jaipur > MNNIT Allahabad based on observations. Faculty: Same. Placements: MNNIT Allahabad > MNIT Jaipur. Location: Jaipur >> Allahabad. Coding culture: MNNIT Allahabad >> MNIT Jaipur (MNNIT has one of the best coding cultures in India).

So, if coding culture and placements are your main priorities, MNNIT is likely the better choice. If college and campus life are what you’re after, then MNIT could be the way to go.

MNNIT Allahabad's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering is a solid choice if you're looking for a decent ROI, especially considering the lower fees around Rs. 1,04,000 per year compared to MNIT Jaipur's Electronics & Communication Engineering. However, MNIT Jaipur offers a more tech-focused path with potentially higher internship opportunities from big companies like Oracle and BPCL, though the competition is fierce. MNNIT has a lower placement percentage of 57%, which is a bit concerning, while MNIT's ECE might lead to broader job prospects. If you’re inclined towards a core field with decent job opportunities, MNNIT could be the smarter financial choice, but if you want to dive into tech and have a more competitive edge, MNIT Jaipur might be worth the investment.
