AI-Generated Summary based on 811 Reviews

The faculty at MNIT College is highly educated, with most holding Ph.D. degrees and many having graduated from prestigious institutions like IITs and foreign universities. The faculty-to-student ratio varies, with general ratios around 1:15 to 1:25, depending on the department. Faculty members are generally approachable and supportive, often engaging in research and offering guidance for projects and internships. While the teaching quality is mostly praised, there are mentions of some teachers being less engaging or using outdated teaching methods.

The college conducts two exams per semester—midterms and end terms, with a grading system that includes internal assessments. I am pursuing in Artificial intelligence and data engineering branch.I like many lectures like Vijaya Lakshmi Madam, Priyanka Madam, Dinesh gopalni sir, Kuldeep Singh Sir and many were there.I don't like Amit sir(Environment Subject) because he will be very harsh on students. The faculty to student relationship will be very good,Every lecture interact with students on campus and off campus also iff needed.Mostly all of the lectures have more than 20 years of experience. We have 8 semesters. We will have two exams in a semester.Mod exam will be in second month of semester and end exam will be in 5 th month of the semester. We have relative grading.

The faculty to student ratio in the college is 25 students on 1 teacher. We can approach the faculties either by the mobile number provided by them or if mobile number is not provided we approach to them through (Class Representative). The faculties i like are firstly, our mechanical workshop sir he was very kind and knowledgable person he also used to give us practical life knowledge. Exams happen semester wise within every six months, the mid sem exams also take place in the middle of the semester. Other than that some of the teachers of some subjects took exam according to their need and the marks are added in internal evaluation.

more small Faculty-student ratio at MNIT is about 1:15. Most teachers are helpful and easy to approach. I liked Prof. Sharma and Prof. Gupta for their clear teaching. Some, like Prof. Singh, are strict with tough exams. We have mid and end-sem exams with a few internal tests. Exams are hard but few fail because of internal assessments. The syllabus is relevant but some parts are a bit theoretical. Overall, the faculty is supportive and balanced.

The ratio of faculty to students in MNIT is 1:40,the faculty members are cooperative in nature and deliver the immense knowledge in their respective field. There are two notable faculties in civil engineering branch who put their heart and soul in their respective fields.these are Mr Sayyam(Phd MIT, America) MIT tal Dhiraj Raj(Phd IIT Rookere). The exams are held twice in a semester, these are the mid semester exams and end semester exams. The mid semester tests are easy to clear but the end semester exams are difficult to clear.Around 10 to 15 students out of a class of 120 fail to clear the test.

For every subject we'll be having a faculty with the PhD student for them to assist, I think it is a very good for the students It is usually good with some of the faculties in the department, having maintenaning good relationship and with others it's a normal student and teacher . Some of the faculties of civil department is very and some are too bad with bad teaching techniques Architectural department has some best staffs and some worst The best is HOD and 2/3 other fellows and the some are moderate and very co operative and some are too bad The good one's push you towards yours things and show up our responsibilities Rest are only cared about academics not about the knowledge About Exam 2 exams will be conducted in entire sem One is mid sem and the other is end sem Mid sem hold less percentage of grade compare to send sem.

Faculty were nice. Some were very helpful. Most of them had good knowledge of the subjects they were teaching. I liked most of the faculties. I wouldn't name them as this would discourage other facilities. All faculties were trying their best to fill us with knowledge of the subject. Very few faculties(1-2) were there who use to read the slides only. Those classes were really boring. I disliked such faculties. There were 2 exams in a semester- 1 mid sem exams and 1 end sem exams. They were quite difficult. Students failing depended upon the subject. In some subjects, most of them excelled. While in a few, it was very difficult to get passings marks only. Course was relevant but I would say they need to give more industrial knowledge. Theory part was more in the curriculum than practical part.

MNIT Jaipur: 2 Answered Questions

Is the computer science branch in MNIT Jaipur good (in terms of academic facilities, faculty, placements etc.)?

Sabeer Chalana
Kalyani ShrivastavaMNIT Jaipur

The CSE branch of MNIT Jaipur is one of the best branches of the institute in comparison to all other NITs. The branch has a dedicated pool of faculty that adopt modern pedagogy to deliver CS concepts. The branch has state-of-the-art lab facilities that assist in cutting-edge research.

MNIT Jaipur CSE placements have recorded decent stats over the past few years. Although no official data has been released on the same, a few acquaintances at MNIT Jaipur shared the statistics with me.

  • Almost 98 students got placed
  • The highest salary package offered by Apple was INR 64 LPA.
  • The lowest salary package offered was INR 6.75 LPA.
  • Top recruiting companies were Apple, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc

Lastly, the NIT tag plays a big role in improving your future prospects and improving your job opportunities. The campus has a diverse crowd and the overall ambiance is quite lively. However, MNI TJaipur lacks in terms of coding culture. So, if you want to participate in competitive programming, you will need a lot of self-motivation.

Ultimately, choosing the college is important but not more than the branch. That being said, the CSE at MNIT Jaipur is better than any core branch at the top NITs. So, if you are willing to work right after graduation, go for it!
