Opt for MNNIT Allahabad for Mechanical Engineering! The Mechanical branch has a lot of potential in design. Don't consider branch change as an option; shifting from Chemical or Mechanical to CSE will be quite challenging.

Here are some suggestions:

  • Choose CSE or ECE at IIIT Kanchipuram or IIIT Jabalpur.
  • Consider the 5-year dual degree at IIIT Gwalior.
  • IIIT Gwalior has outstanding placement stats over the last two years, with a median salary of 18 LPA (average is 20 LPA).

If you're comfortable with the 5-year dual degree, go for IIIT Gwalior without hesitation! Otherwise, opt for IIIT Jabalpur or IIIT Kanchipuram. All the best!

It's always about the branch over the college because your branch shapes your career, not the institution. What are you genuinely interested in? Reflect on that and make your choice. If you're not considering CS, then mechanical is a solid option!

MNNIT Allahabad's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering has a solid curriculum with a focus on core subjects relevant to industries like petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals, but the practical exposure is lacking. Meanwhile, MANIT Bhopal's B.Tech in Electrical Engineering typically offers better campus life and a more competitive edge in tech placements, especially since tech companies prefer circuital branches. While MNNIT might attract those passionate about chemical engineering, I personally lean towards MANIT for its superior internship opportunities and vibrant campus environment. If you're inclined towards tech and want a lively campus life, MANIT Bhopal would be the better choice.

MNNIT Allahabad’s B.Tech in Chemical Engineering offers decent core subjects and is respected in industries like oil and pharmaceuticals, but the internship opportunities are limited with only a few companies hiring chemical engineers. In contrast, MANIT Bhopal’s B.Tech in Electrical Engineering likely has better prospects, especially given the tech boom and the demand for electrical engineers across various sectors, including IT. While MNNIT provides a solid foundation, MANIT seems to edge ahead with potentially higher placement rates and a broader range of internship opportunities. If you’re leaning towards industries with high demand and diverse job roles, MANIT Bhopal might be the better choice.

MNNIT Allahabad's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering offers a decent curriculum focusing on core subjects but lacks in practical exposure and has a lower placement percentage of about 57%, making the ROI questionable for some. The fees are around Rs. 1,87,000 per year, which is significant, but there are scholarships for top students. On the other hand, MANIT Bhopal's B.Tech in Electrical Engineering likely provides better opportunities due to a wider range of tech companies visiting for internships and placements, making it a more attractive option for future employment and a higher ROI. Overall, if you're leaning towards a more stable financial future with better job prospects, I'd recommend MANIT Bhopal for its stronger industry connections and potential for higher earnings.
