MNNIT Allahabad for Chemical Engineering offers decent placements, but the competition is fierce, especially for tech internships, with only 8 out of 58 students getting core internships. In contrast, NIT Warangal's Electronics & Communication Engineering program has a stronger reputation and a broader range of companies recruiting, making it easier to secure internships and jobs. While both colleges have their merits, NIT Warangal typically provides better job/package prospects due to its higher placement rates and more diverse internship opportunities. If you’re looking for better career outcomes, I’d recommend going for B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering at NIT Warangal.

If you're interested in Chemical Engineering, then go for it! MNNIT Allahabad is one of the top NITs in India. This year, the placement for the Chemical branch was impressive, with several PSUs visiting the campus and offering attractive packages to students. The faculty is decent, though not exceptional.

Now, if you don't have a branch restriction, here are some options to consider: (this data is from College Pravesh's college predictor) :)

  • Evaluate your interests and preferences.
  • Use various college predictors to compare options.
  • Make your choices and rank them accordingly.

Whatever decision you make, ensure it's based on your own interests. Remember, these data points may not be entirely accurate.

All the best!! :)

MNNIT Allahabad's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering offers a decent curriculum with core subjects relevant to the industry, but the internship opportunities are quite limited and competitive, particularly in tech roles. In contrast, NIT Warangal's B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering tends to attract more tech companies and has a better placement percentage, making it a stronger financial choice for job prospects. The fees at MNNIT range from around Rs. 62,000 to Rs. 1,87,000 per year, while NIT Warangal typically offers a similar fee structure but with potentially higher returns on investment due to better placements. If you're leaning towards a stable job in the core sector, MNNIT could be suitable, but for tech roles and overall ROI, NIT Warangal is the smarter pick.
