Remarks

If you want to roam Mussorie and experience how mean people are come to DIT he will definitely learn how to study in one day and pass the exams but after 3 years before that you will get a backlog no matter how point to point you answer the question. Why matters is how much you kissed your facultys ass sorry for being so rude on this whole survey but it's the truth and every DITU alumni can relate and will add 10 points more related to this topic

Course Curriculum Overview

1

Course structure was pretty outdated and exams structure was fine, we studied a day before exam and still passed the subjects, in freshman year they put a lot of pressure for backlogs and faculties there in earlier years of b tech were deducting marks like it's their own university.

Placement Experience

2.5

If you want placement in DITU then you should have at least b tech IT or B. tech CS other than that no good placement offers were provided and you can check the placement record they fake it they calculate placement record on "i don't know" basis

College Events

0.5

Fests, regular trip to college, every DIT alumni or present student loves going to. Mussorie rather than staying in college and celebrating the fests and to be really honest with you it is much better to enjoy outside rather than staying in college and faking happiness.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was fine in 2015 I would say affordable but in upcoming years i heard the fees was getting higher and higher and the valid reason wasn't too good. No good infrastructure no place to have a sports fest that so called youthopia.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get the scholarship but no one else around me did as well. I studied on a bank loan I am still paying back I got the loan from outside of campus there was no loan facility provided by DIT UNIVERSITY

Campus Life

1

No extracurricular activities were there and in my period of 4 years we barely got to any of the activities. 4th semester we didn't go to the lab of DBMS because the whole semester faculty was missing and didn't even had the guts to speak to students about the lab because he was too busy wandering in Mussorie as well

Hostel Facilities

2

I lived in outcampus hostel on dilaram chowk named "babbar 2" and I'd say infrastructure was shit the hostel no longer exists and 2015 batch who lived outside fell in love with dehradun not with DIT and definitely not hostel. Mess food was so much worse we ordered food from outside on a daily basis

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, every alumni who went to DIT and was an average student will tell you how EXACTLY DITU works because there is no person in the whole university who can appreciate DIT in NY terms other than location on a scale of 10 everything is around 2-3/10 but in terms of location it is 10/10

Admission

A merit list was declared and according to the list students were called and then every student is asked for their preferred branch then they asked for accommodations like hostel, transportation etc and then gave the orientation for the college.

Faculty

0.5

Some faculties were fine but only some of all, rest are just an employee doing his jobs and doesn't stand up for students who were facing problems and having backlogs my friend had backlogs and we're passouts now but he is still in contact with DIT UNIVERSITY about his backlogs because they never cleared them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.
