Remarks

Overall excellent infrastructure. Classes are scheduled from 8:30 in the morning on some days which is impossible to attend for some students. Some of the teachers are disinterested but some are really good. Canteen is not good of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are three years of this graduation in our college and in these three years we have six semesters. We have both internal and semester exam. In first year we have four subjects two are main subjects that are about political science and one is generic elective and one is ability enhancement. On the other hand, there are five subjects in both second and third year in which three subjects are our main subjects.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not that much good. I have not been placed from college yet I have heard it from our former students.Various companies come to select the deserving students. But there are very few companies those come for recruitment.

College Events

3.5

There is freshers for every department along with for whole college. There are regular cultural programmes and debates. There is Ethnic Day and the Annual college. The college does organise the events themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very minimal. For my political science honours the annual fee is 12,000 plus the exam fee at the end of the year. There are scholarships for underprivileged members of the society. It is one of the most inexpensive college in the whole campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarships to those students whose annual income is less than 1.5 lakh but I don't know the procedure. The college does not arrange loans for students. The college provides facility to pay in installments.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college is kinda average in extra curricular activities because students are loaded with classes. Talking of extra curricular activities there is NCC training for students. The most played sports are football, volleyball, cricket and kabbadi. Mac also has a gym in the basement.

Hostel Facilities

3

Our college has a girl's hostel. The food is provided with a variation in the menu everyday to the hostel girls. There is proper security for the hostel girls. There are study tables and almirahs. Rooms are either single or double sharing basis. There are various PGs too.

Alumni/Alumna

Once in a year, there is an alumni meet conducted by our college. Our seniors are very helpful and friendly. They help us and provide us notes and all the necessary information. They introduced themselves and told us about faculty and the course.

Admission

I have scored 88% marks in 12th so i opted for this college because the admission in any college of DU is on merit basis. So I went to their political science department and professors checked my marks and gave me permission and signed the form so that I could buy their prospectus and form then i filled all the informations with all the documents that required and then my documents had gone to some other teachers and they gave me a fee slip and i submitted fee.

Faculty

3.5

All of the faculty members are really helpful. The quality of teaching is the best. Teachers in the college are very much qualified, and all of them have completed their phDs. They are very kind and offer attention to each student. Whenever students feel any kind of problem they give extra classes also.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
