Excellent college

Overall the college is good. Once upon a time it had great reputation for civil engineering department. But now the scenario is different. College disciple and rules are pretty strict. The college never returns the caution money of Rs.20000 which they promise to return.

There is a preety Impressive course structure. Though the syllabus has been upgraded last year. Students have to appear for about 5-6 theory papers per semester. Practical paper counts upto 4 per semester. Final university Exams are of 70marks and 30 marks are on internal performance.

No internship is provided thus the question of striped does not arise. But college authority do organise separate industrial visit if necessary. Placement and job opportunity is not good this days as the corporate sector is getting started. But students do get placed. Though the ratio is low.

The college organises a freshers party known as footprints in the month of August. Followed by an interview department technical fest known as tech xtra. Months later comes the cultural feast of college advaya. Paridhi is another inter college technical fest.

The fees structure is preety low compared to the fee structure of other college in other states. Though it is still expensive of 4 lakh for 4 year. The fee is divided per semester. The maximum is in the first two semester. Tfw/wfs can also be applied for scholarship. If fees is paid late they charge a huge fine for it.

College is nice non cooperative in terms of fees. They do not provide much assistance in terms of scholarship. If you are admitted under the tfw plan of MAKAUT then fine else u have to manage the fees

No playground in the college campus. Though tournaments are organized. Laboratories are well equipped though equipment are pretty old. Equipment malfunction is common scenario in the laboratory. The students can be part ROTARACT.

College does not provide any hostel facility. If required they have to stay in any mess or private hostel. Sahara hostel is most known hostel in the near area of the college. Most of the mess are in the RR plot area

Alumni network is pretty good. Senior students are helpful towards the Junior. There is no scenario of ragging in the campus. They are helpful. Usually there is a family atmosphere within the college.

I appeared for WBJEE and the secured a rank hence was qualified for centralized counseling. There was three rounds of counseling. The students get to upgrade the preference. Lateral entry for diploma students is also available.

Faculty and teachers are pretty experienced. Faculty and teachers are also very helpful if necessary they provide separate individual care after the class. The student is to teacher ratio is also good.
