Time that I lost.

about my college, i just want to say that it can be a very nice university if teachers and the department will help students in gaining practical knowlegde more and focus not only in theory but in real life practical knowlegde as well. but i had a great memorable 4 years in the college.

In the course curriculum, we had sessional before exams of every semester which consists of 25 marks in which the teacher had to gave assignment work and a class test to students for these 25 marks which is counted in semester exams. Main semester exams consist of 70 marks and remaining 5 marks are for Attendance and 75 % attendance is compulsory. if you don't have 75% attendance then you won't be able to gave the exam of the particular subject.

As a Private university in our country, the placement is just good because it all matters to students but i think college is responsible for all this because if you teach only theory and make it the first priority then how a normal student can compete in placements. and very less interships options are there and if some are being as an option then either they are paid internship or don't have value in the future.

there were several events celebrated in our college related to sports, dance, social awareness, language festival, and which every college had AMIFEST which is either held in feb or march. there are some large scale events such as SANGATHAN, MARATHON, AMIFEST, LANGUAGE DAY, and many more.

it is very expensive for every student. my btech course fees was aprox. 1 lakh per semester rounding off to 8.5 lakhs in four year and if you want to stay in hostel (which is i think the better option because the college is situated very far away from the gurgaon city aprox 35 kms away from gurgaon iffco chowk). then it will cost 65k per year except food.

if a students having pointer more than 9.0 than 100 percent scholorship will be provided and if student having 8.5 or more than 50 percent scholorship will be provided but it has to be last years CGPA.

extracurricular activities are not that much in the campus by their own but if the students want to do something or want to start something by his own then he/she can start easily and a lot sports activities are there in the university such as cricket, ffotball,volleyball,basketball,tennis,etc. and labs are also available for students and it has 2 floor library which is huge.

if you want to stay in hostel (which is i think the better option because the college is situated very far away from the gurgaon city aprox 35 kms away from gurgaon iffco chowk). then it will cost 65k per year except food. hostel is quite good and have small decent rooms in a 3 rooms suite meaning 3 rooms have one common bathroom and closed like a flat of 3 rooms. and one room have 2 beds on different sides so it is nice. talking about food that is the main problem people face in hostels. Although there are 3-4 mess where you can go and eat and some food plazas are also there like CCD,Dosa Plaza and FOOD van, JUICE CORNER is also in the campus itself.

Yes, Everybody is helpful only when you go and approach to them. and the best part is that there was no ragigng in the campus and seniors do help juniors in every work possible for them and some teachers also.

I gave the entrance test before admission which consist of several tests including interviews. First-round was based on knowledge up to 12th class and another round is writing skills and then there was face to face an interview and after 1 week.

Some are really great teachers and some just pass their time and ruining students life in every manner possible. their first priority is not teaching their first priority is attendance of the students. and they don'[t even believe in practical work they are just theory based teachers who only thinks teaching theory will make every student's life miserable.
